Horseland PCAV Flat Teams and Musical Ride State Championships

Ruby Marantelli rode Cody for the Tullamarine Pony Club Diamonds Team.

The East Gippsland team from Briagolong Pony Club took third place in the Musical Ride after a count back for equal second. The Aussie Cowgirls from Briagalong were, Jackie Elliott, Carley Eirnsiedelo, Lydia Ryan and Melissa Ryan.

Nine year old Teegan Medlyn riding Tom Tom were members of the fifth placed Bealiba C Muppetts team.

Leah Iolt rode Bonnie for the Bealiba C Team. Bealiba Pony Club is a small, relatively new club near Bendigo that specialises in some wonderful Musical ride teams each year.

Ingrid Gould rode Babe with the wonderful eye lashes for the Bealiba C Muppetts team that took fifth place in the Musical ride.

Lauren Hassell, Rachael Wood, Emma Alexander and Maddy Tabak were members of the Corio/Moorabool Pony Club third placed Flat Team. In the Flat team competition is made up of a rehearsed team ride, flat teams pairs and a unrehearsed team ride.

Eleven year old Brianne Cole rode Toby for the Stawell Pony Club "Grease" Team.

Nine year old Olivia Cole rode Kayley complete with hair rollers, for the Stawell Pony Club "Grease" team.

The Yarra Glen Pony Club Flat team consisting of Nikkita Munns, Scarlett Kennedy, Lucy Holzs and Laura Aldouse looks pleased to be riding at the Horseland PCAV Games and Flat Teams Championships.

Kate Smith, Claire Marriott, Olivia Avers and Chelsea Bamford were members of the Benalla "Michael Jackson" team.

Claire Hammkond, Haileigh Russell, Marney Neal and Chloe Smith from Bairnsdale Pony Club were members of and took out the Flat Team Championship.

Tamila Jefcott, Ella Tosh, Renae Faber and Emma Aldous were members of the Yarra Glen Pony Club "Party Rock" team.

Tegan Hee, Tayla-Jane Deacon, Laura Wallace and Sami Johnson from Seville Pony Club look to be enjoying the perfect winter's days, during their Flat team rehearsed ride.

Annabel Murray and Barley make a good start for the Swan Hill Pony Club Musical Ride team.

Nerolea Crossfield rode Rolls Royce for the Swan Hill Pony Club, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Team.

Sarah McKay, Jayne Kirkham, Annika Bowling and Ellie Damron were members of the winning Spanish Macedon A team, taking out the Ian Wardell Memorial Trophy for the Best Musical Ride.

Strawman, Ebony Linford rode Yup Yup for Warragul Pony Club in the Wizard Of Oz team.

Victoria Hadfield was one of the robbers for the Corio Moorabool Pony Club musical ride team. This team rode to an excellent medley of music from TV Crime shows. It is a shame there is not a special prize for the best music.

Tanika Daisley (Murray) rode Sweet Meadow Lea "Henry The Octopus", in the Ballarat Pony Club Wiggles Team.

Katharyn O'Driscoll rode Kenlock Casino Royale , The Big Red Car for the Ballarat Wiggles Team.

Hanah Cashmor rode Remlif Park Wizard for the Ballarat Pony Club Cops and Robbers Team, that took fourth place.

The Kyneton Pony Club Toy Soldiers team of Sarah Field, Natalia Bognar, Emmy MacRae and Alice Taylor took second place in the Musical Ride.

From far East Gippsland the Orbost Pony Club Pink Panthers team of Sharnie Ryan-Woerz, Nikita Farley, Sienna Battel and Zara Cotter looked splendid.

Paigan Gould rode Rialyo Rose in the Bealiba B Phar Lap team. This team produced a unique ride to music from the Phar Lap movie, sound clips of Phar Lap races and news reels.

Tegan Burke, Adriana Boyle, Sarah Clifford and Seienna Mallon were the Macedon C Arabian Knights. At the PCAV State Musical Ride Championships each qualified team has 4 to 8 minutes to ride a freestyle test to music. The rules state;"A musical ride is all about entertaining, not necessarily equine excellence." However, movements are marked but the most points are awarded for Team Work and Artistic Impression.

Phar Lap, Ritchie ridden by Abby Fry heads to the finish line for the Bealiba B Phar Lap Team. They pass Alica Buillinghurst and Charleston Boy.

Kylie Scillni rode Brandon in the sixth placed Bealiba Pony Club A "Thriller" team. Bealiba Pony club had three Musical Ride teams, two Flat Teams and two games teams qualifed for these championships.

Twelve year old, Leah Healey rode Balena Toscza in the Tullamarine Pony Club Diamonds team.

The wondeful costume of Kate Rodgers riding Mavlova's Magic, as the Toucan/Hornbill for the Mentone Pony Club Lion King Team.

Jemma Dunstan as Pumbaa the Warthog looks to be having a good time riding Serenity Lane Playboy for the Mentone Pony Club Lion King Team.
