It was good to see long time showing rider Shelly Mc Guinness (yes, Shelly did start young) back in the ring. She rode her well performed, 'Shirvington' to win the Ring 3 class for open Hack 15-15.2hh. Shelly also stepped aboard Melanie Burns', 'Brookman Park Enchanting (just for the day) to win the Ring 3 15-15.2hh class and claim the Reserve Champion Hack award.

Bree Stevens rode Julie Conti's, 'Naaman Galliano' by Warrawee S'Preem to second place in the Ring 3 class for Open Hack 15-15.2hh.

Alana Ravenhorse from Bunyip rode her 'Tuscan Rose; to third place in the Ring 3 class for Open hack 15-15.2hh.

Michael Christie made an impressive showring debut with Shelagh Flanders' and Warren Coyle's six year old, 'Marquez' that won the Ring 3 Elementary hack class ans took second place in the Open 15.2-16hh class.

Jess Bolt from Tynong rode her well performed, 'Rodeo Drove' to third place in the Ring 3 class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

Well know showing identity, Debbie Cheeseman from Healesville is pictured with her first season hack, 'Lexington Avenue (by Woodman). They were just out of the placings in the Ring 3 class for Open Hack 15.2-16hh.

Caroline Rinaldi rode her delightful Danehill gelding, 'Danerette' to win the Ring 3 class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh. Danerette that won a few in the city was trained by Jason Williams at Cranbourne.

John Pleiter's Australian Pony, 'Blackwood Bolshoi' by Kooralyn Cossack won the Open Led Colt 2 and 3 Years and went on to be declared Champion Led Junior Exhibit..

Successful Showing rider, Jacqui Librio claimed the Ring 3 Champion Ridden Show Hunter Hack award with her always impressive, 'Caruso'.

Rebecca Farrow is always the epitome of elegance and beauty in the showring. And her horse, 'Stage Lyric' is well able to keep up with his glamorous rider. They took out the Ring 3 Open Hack Over 16.2hh class and went on to take out the Hack Championship.

Many show enthusiasts will remember Anne Hibberd and her well performed big hack, 'Yet Again'. Anne now a medical student in Brisbane with Yet Again kept active by her mother, thought it rather nice to attend Lang Lang show for old times's sake. They took third place in the Ring 3 class for Open Hack Over 16.2hh.

Julie Field brought her hack, 'Ironic' down from Queensland for a three month visit. Julie is making the most of her time down south and won the Ring 3 class for Novice Hack.

Blake Paulston from Wee Waa in NSW rode his mother, Nicole's, 'Bellrose Park Top Cat', by Silkwood Puss 'n' Boots to claim the Champion Ridden Show Pony award.

Jordy Wright rode Pakenham exhibitor, Linda McNeiell's 'Thorwood Alice In Wonderland' by Stanton Park Hell's Bells to claim the Ring 2 Show Hunter Pony Under 12.2hh Championship.

Laura Thomas rode Rossanne Mason's 'In Vogue', by Kirreway For All Occasions out of Mirinda In Vogue to take second place in the Ring 2 class for Show Hunter Pony 13.2-14.2hh.

Only second time out in harness for Woolcock and Munday's nomination, 'Plinta Park Kimba'. The successful ridden Shetland is driven by Kara Woolcock. They won the Viceroy Turnout class.

Helen Lawrence drove the Lawrence Family's 'Moorabindi McGregor' to win the class for Jinka/Buggy Turnout.

Natalie O'Connor drove the O'Connor Family's 'Moswyn Park Moonlight Shimmer' to take out the class for Hackney Driven.

Karen Fisher rode Syenna Vasopolous' 'Malibu Park Moccachino' to win the Ring 2 class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Emma Hayes rode her 'Mirinda Muskateer' to third place in the Ring 2 class for Open Pony 12.2-13hh.

Jasmine Walters won the Fancy Dress class and almost stole the show with her 'Dorothy The Dinosaur' aka, 'Silver' at home.

Long time no see! Melissa Denereaz has had great success with many ponies over many years. It was good to see the ageless rider take out the Ring 3 class for Open Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to claim the Galloway Championship with her, 'Mirinda Sabrina' (Ninfield Minks Supreme/Silkwood Acushla).

The well performed young rider, Jessica Dunn took third place in the Ring 3 class for Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh with her, 'Venetian Speedway'.

Catherine Martindale, more at home on the cross country course than the showring, claimed the Ring 3 Show Hunter Galloway Championship with her, 'Corndale Checkmate'.

Jade Gilbert rode Pauline Lay's 'Lakevale Puss 'n'Boots' to win the Ring 2 class for Pony 12-12.2hh and take out the Small Pony Championship.

Hot off a very successful Victorian All Welsh Show last week, Sarah Maley rode the Moloney Family's, 'Lykanarrow Roger Rocket' to win the Ring 2 Show Hunter Pony NE 12hh and go on to claim the Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Haley Tumlinson from Hazelwood North rode her , 'Dunelm Limerick' to win the Ring 1 class for Ridden Show Hunter Pony 12.2-13.2hh.

Professional and successful showing rider, Briony Payne rode Monique Noble's 'Warranwood Huston' (out of Briony's hack, Bewitched) to win the Ring 2 class for Show Hunter Pony 13-14hh.

Patrick Moloney has had great success in the showring despite his tender years. Today he rode Cathy Emmett's wonderful hunter, 'The Milkman' to win the Ring 3 class for Rider 16-18 Years and claim the Intermediate Rider Championship.

It was time to catch up with quite a few, "long time no see" riders at Lang Lang. One was Leanne Lawrence who has had great success in the ring, especially with Arabian horses. Leanne is pictured with her 78% Arabian, 'Mustang Lodge Sea Dreams'.
