Launceston Royal Show

The beautifully presented Star of the Sea College team out worked the opposition to take out the School Teams Flat Championship. The team of L-R Blake Miller, Skye Taylor and Flynn Miller did well in the other classes on offer. Blake was declared Champion School / Pony Club Rider Under 15 Years, with Flynn, Reserve. Skye rode her Holly of Spring to take third place in the School / Pony Club Showjumping Welcome Stakes.

The St Patrick's College Team of L-R Emma Kolodjashnij, Laura Shepherd and Michaela van Rooye took second place in the School Flat Teams competition.

The Birralee and District Pony Club Team comprising, Deanne Earley, Olivia Davis and Jessica Russell work out for third place in the the Pony Club Teams competition.

The Deloraine and District Pony Club team, comprising, L-R Laura Johnson, Michaela van Rooye (Champion Pony Club Rider 17-26 Years) and Alice Stanley in action during the Flat Teams competition. They took fifth place.

The Launceston Pony Cub Team, comprising, Samantha Stone, Madeleine Chugg and Ashlee O'Callaghan (Reserve CHampion PC Rider 17-26 Years) won the Pony Club Flat Teams competition.

The Midlands Pony Club Team, Vanessa Liston, Ashlee Grones and Emily Jones, took fourth place in the Pony Club Flat Teams competition.

The Tasmanian Pony and Riding Club first won the Flat Teams Shield in 1964. Here, Jessiac Pyke, Marion Goss and Abigail Viney took sixth place for the Club in 2006.

The West Tamar Pony Club, comprising Michelle Adams, Hayley McCarthy and Sarah Lockyer, put on a fine display to take second place in the Pony Club Flat Teams competition.
