They earned 74.06% and 15th place in the Special and with it an invitation to the Freestyle next Thursday. The top 18 after the Special go forward to the Freestyle to determine the Individual Medals.
Finnish Individual, Mikaela Lindh rode the Danish Warmblood, ,'Mas Guapo' by Master to score 69.01% in the Grand Prix Special.
Riding as an Individual for France, Jessica Michel rode 'Riwera', a mare by Welt Hit 2 to earn 68.81% in the extraordinary Grand Prix Special today. The standard was so high across the board.
Spanish Team member, Jose Martin Dockz rode the Andalusian stallion, 'Grandioso' by Adelante. The Spanish Team were seventh with a Team percentage of 72.28. to earn 69.28% in the Grand Prix Special. .
Swedish Team Member, Minna Telde rode the Sandro Hit stallion, 'Santana' to earn 72.27% In the Grand Prix Special. Sweden were fifth in the Team competition with a percentage of 72.70.
Riding as an Individual for The Netherlands, Patrick van der Meer rode the Dutch gelding by Lancet, 'Uzzo' to earn 67.44% in the Grand Prix Special.
Jan Ebeling riding for the USA is pictured aboard the Argentinus mare, 'Rafalca' that earned 69.30% in the Grand Prix Special. After the Grand Prix and Special, The USA took sixth place in the Team competition with an average percentage of 72.43%.
USA Team member, Steffen Peters produced a lovely and beautifully ridden test aboard, 'Ravel' by Contango to take seventh place in the Grand Prix Special with 76.25%.
Juan Manuel Diaz took eleventh place in the Grand Prix Special riding the charming and popular Andalusian stallion, 'Fuego' by Utrerano VII with 75.47%.
Patrik Kittel is married to Australian Team Member, Lyndal Oatley. They live in Germany and Partik rides for Sweden. He is pictured riding 'Scandic' a Dutch bred stallion by Solos Carex to 14th place with 74.07% in the Special.
Canadian Team Member, Ashley Holzer rode the eye catching KWPN gelding, 'Breaking Dawn' by Akribori to .score 71.31% for 24th place in the Grand Prix Special.
Austrian Individual, Victoria Max-Theurer was delighted with her August Der Starke Oldenberg stallion, 'Augustin' that scored 74.06% for 17th place and an invitation to the Freestyle on Thursday.
Italian Individual, Valentina Truppa's , 'Eremo Del Castegno' by Rohdiamant was a little spooked by some automatic cameras placed near the arena which cost him marks. However, they earned 73.12% for 18th place and a run in the Freestyle.
Portuguese Individual, Goncalo Carvalho works past the offending auto cameras, without the slightest concern from his charming Lusitano stallion, 'Rubi' by Batial.

Belgian Individual, Claudia Fassaert rode the De Niro mare, 'Donnerfee' to earn 70.09% in the Grand Prix Special, which was good enough for 27th place. Twenty seven riders in the Special scored above 70% producing the highest standard of dressage ever seen at an Olympics or World Championships.
German Team member, Dorothee Schneider rode the beautiful Don Frederico mare, 'Diva Royal' to score 77.54% for sixth place individually. The German Team won the Silver Team Medal with a Team average of 77.58%.
Team GB member, Carl Hester produced a beautiful test riding the Metall stallion, 'Uthopia'. They earned 80.57% for third place individually and took the Team Gold Medal to go with his European Championship Gold Medal. The Team GB average was an amazing 80.55%.
Despite a score of 72.01%, Denmark's Anne van Olst and 'Clearwater' did not make the cut for the Freestyle. The Danish Team finished in fourth place with and average of 73.84%.
The famous Anky van Grunsven is always a great performer. She is pictured riding the 17 year old 'Salinero' by Salieri that earned 74.79% for 12th place. We will see Anky doing what she does best in the Freestyle on Thursday. The Dutch Team took the Bronze Medal with a percentage of 77.43.
The Dutch supporters are always enthusiastic and visible.
German Team rider, 26 year old, Kristina Sprehe had one anxious moment, but none the less produced a good test riding the typey De Niro stallion, 'Desperados'. She finished in seventh place with 76.25% and helped the German Team take the Silver Medal.
Team GB Member, Laura Bechtolsheimer points to the good score she received riding her 'Mistral Hojris' by Michellino. They earned 77.79% for fifth place individually and Team Gold.
Denmark's Anna Kasprzak rode the former Christoph Koschel ride, the lovely, Donnerhall gelding, 'Donnperignon' to score 73.79% for 16th place in the Grand Prix Special.
Edward Gal did his best for The Netherlands riding the Ferro gelding, 'Undercover' to earn 75.55% and 10th place in the Individual competition.
Germany's Helen Langehanenberg who looks about 12 and is actually 30 rode the beautiful Donnerhall stallion, 'Damon Hill' that earned 78.93% and fourth place in the Special.
Twenty six year old Team GB member, Charlotte Du Jardin has nerves of steel and great riding talent. She produced a sensational Grand Prix Special riding her talented partner, 'Valegro'. They earned 83.28% to win the Special. Can they make it a clean sweep on Thursday.
Denmark's Princess Nathalie zu Sayn Wittgenstein rode her lovely Donnerhall gelding, 'Digby' to ninth place in the Grand Prix Special with 95.73%.
Holland's Adelinde Cornelissen closed the show with a super test riding her World Cup winning partner, 'Parzival' by Jazz. They took second place with 81.96%.
