Well known and successful Victorian rider and trainer, Natalie Davies holds fourth place in the RACV Farm Insurance CCI* after a clear run across country. They head in to the final phase on 51.70, just 7.30 behind the leader.

Meryl Dekker and her wonderful Clydesdale/Thoroughbred, 'Drummer', jumped a good round over the RACV Farm Insurance CCI* course today to move from 16th to eighth place heading in to the final jumping phase tomorrow. A great effort in the 78 strong class.

The London Olympics are very much on everyone's mind at Melbourne, with the event the last occasion for the Australian based hopefuls to impress the selectors. The last fence reminded everyone of the Games that will be conducted in London in just over a month. Kaytlyn Lawton and her 'Braeloch' make a good effort over the last fence of the CCIJ* competition.

Sophie Adams jumped a beautiful round aboard the Waratah Equestrian P/L's impressive Selle Francais, 'Mecator du Ry' by Brett Saint Clair, to move from fifth after the dressage phase to second place in the Logan Floats CCI** after the cross country.

Lucy Kolomanski and her, 'Jirrima Royal Command', an Arab/Warmblood by Arundel house Zermat added just 0.8 cross country time penalties to move from 28th to 15th place in the Logan Floats Australia CCI** competition.

Olympic Team hopefuls, Emma Scott and 'Mustang' were one of four combinations to take the opportunity to further impress the team Selectors at Melbourne. They completed the Four Star dressage test yesterday, jumped a shortened Two Star track today and tomorrow will jump a 1.30m showjumping course. There is great confusion regarding the point or purpose of this "command performance".
