The downpour of rain didn't dampen Kira-Lee Newman's enthusiasm to take out the Grand National Qualifier Junior Rider under 12 years Championship. Later in the day Kira-Lee was awarded the Gary Collier Perpetual Supreme Rider of the Championships keeping it in the family after her sister Shoshona took out the same award in 2008.

Shoshona Newman rode 'Sheldene Arcade' to win the Champion & Smartest On Parade in the Grand National Qualifier Rider 12 years & under 15 years Championship.

Grace Elliott rode 'Cheraton Country Road' to win Champion Adult Rider 17 years & under 21 years in the Grand National Qualifier Championship.

For what has now become a highlight of the Championships, the Northern NSW Super Hack Challenge Spectacular for all Hacks over 15h, held over 2 days with a Led Phase on day 1 and a Ridden Phase the following day, attracted strong entries of beautifully presented hacks. Champion of the Hack Challenge was awarded to the lovely hack 'Glencoe Lexington' ridden by Alexia Fraser from Warwick Qld.

Julie Casson was happy with her mount 'Rothwell Fields Of Gold' taking out the Reserve Champion Riding Pony Stud Book Ridden Show Hunter Pony over 13.2h & ne 14.2h Championship.

From a lovely class of ponies in the Grand National Qualifying Small Show Hunter Pony ne 12.2h Championship 'Cherrytree Vagabond' ridden by Eliza Cullen took out the Championship.

It was a very emotional moment for Julie Lowe when the announcement was made that she had taken out the Lady Bonita's Grand National Qualifying Large Show Hunter Galloway Champion with 'Centre Stage Of Delft'. It was Julie's last ride on her very successful mount as straight after the day's competition, the pair would be going their seperate ways as the horse going to it's new home. 'Kyldar Judgement' ridden by Kylie Raymont placed in the Top 5 and were awarded the Smartest On Parade in the Grand National Qualifying Large Show Hunter Hack Championship.

Megan Hitch once again impressed the judges with her 'Rimini Park Kristakaros' taking out the Grand National Qualifying Large Show Hunter Hack Championshuip for yet another year.
