Lisa Lahey rode jacknife in the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby to score 137 and take seventh place.

Winner of the $36,000 NRHA Open Futurity , A Little Pep ridden by Warren Backhouse and owned by Janice and John Alison and Stephen and Fiona Jones from Qld. Son of the legendary Playboy Roy, A Little Pep scored 141.5 in the Go-Round and 144.5 in the final.

After a great show Cameron Halliwell riding OP Dunit Up A Notch nearly stole the major prize. With a score of 144.5 already posted by Warren Backhouse, Cameron tried his best, producing a fast and accurate run but 143.5 placed him second in the Open final and 1st in the Intermediate Open .

Laura Barr rode Hollywood Double Bill in the Camarda Youth to score 88 and take seventh place.

Hayley Backhouse rode the wonderful school master, Crushed Ice in the Camarda Youth to score 135 and equal second place.

Jewel Eve Gibbs rode El Eban Amigo in the Camarda Youth to score 134 and fourth place.

Fifth place in the Camarda Youth scoring 132, Kayla Senior riding MG My Parrs Celeste.

Tyler Smith riding Peppies Boot Scooter in the Cambarda Youth, scored 0 but she did win the applause meter and also win the judges award from USA visitor, Brian Welman.

Shelley Peters rode Tell Me A Story to score 135 and equal second place in the Camarda Youth reining.

Sixth place in the Camarda Youth scoring 130.5, Eloise Denton riding Spin N Lethal.

Winner of the Camarda Youth reining, Jem Alisha Gibbs riding Docs Be Quick with a score of 139.

Scott Glover rode Ruf Major, " the highest money earning imported reining stallion at stud in Australia", in the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby, unfortunately they recieved a score of 0.

Winner of the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby and a saddle donated by KRS Custom Saddles, 2003 Futurity winner Docs Defender ridden by Peter Bartolo from NSW. Peter and Doc Defender also were awarded the buckle for the Highest Scoring Non-Pro registed Quarter Horse.

Chris Bell rode Mr Cool Dually in the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby, to score 136 and take 8th place.

Third placein the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby, Keiran Moses riding Gambel Lena scoring 139.5.

Chris Stapleton rode Ima Little Diablo in the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby to score 107.

Ninth place in the Paramont PVC Fencing $1500 Non Pro Derby, Jill Fookes riding TJF Get Riled scoring 135.5.

Mick taylor rode Yulgilbar Roy N Reckless to place =4th in the Intermediate Open Futurity final with a score of 138.5.

Wayne Williams rode Get'n Lena to place 3rd in the Intermediate Open and 6th in the Open Futurity with a score of 139.

Eighteen year old Shaun Saunders entertained the appreciative crowd with a run that displayed all his precocious talent, riding Ian Waldron's OP Finally Dunit to place second in the Intermediate Open and third in the Open Futurity Final with a score of 143.

Roy Marchington from Victoria rode T. and C. Lovell's, Shotgun Destiny in the final of the NRHA Open Futurity to score 130.

Annette Miller from Victoria was thrilled to be riding in her first NRHA Futurity final. Annette rode Gary Browne's, Dell Two Bars to place eigth in the Intermediate Open and ninth in the open scoring 134.5.

Winner of the buckle for the highest scoring Paint in the Futurity final, the imported stud by Straight from Texas, Smoken Native Son, ridden by Warren Backhouse and owned by C. and J. Marsh.
