2006 Perth Royal Show

Readon Park Oso Kewt by Chininara Rivoli Radium was successfully shown by owner Kate Newton to take out the Champion Australian Stock Horse Mare and then go on to be awarded Supreme Australian Stock Horse. They also won the Lady's Working Stock Horse later in the day.

Lesley Smith's yearling colt, Straun Parks Just Looking by Talisman Fiddler, made a successful Royal Show debut taking out the Champion Australian Stock Horse Stallion or Colt.

There was some confusion over who really won the Pony Hack 12.2-13hh class. However, Yartarla Park Innaminka and Jesie Kilgallon were awarded the first price ribbon.

The Esperance Senior School presented a number of Australain Stock Horse youngsters that the school has breed as part of an Equine Studies course. This two year old gelding, Escholar Jackie, by Ophir Mr Bruce won the Gelding 3 years and under.

Holly McClone rode Judaroo Phillipa to win the Smartest on Parade for Led Riders on a pony under 14hh. Phillipa's owner John Henderson was the leader.

Grace Bray placed second in the Smartest on Parade for Led Riders part II.

Silkwood Sound of Music exhibited by Brooke Rolfe won the Pony Hack 13-13.2hh.

Jane Fisher with her gelding Arkansas, by Is It True, took out the Champion Led Australian Stock Horse Gelding award. Jane and Arkansas come back later to also claim Reserve Champion Ridden Australian Stock Horse.

Bronte Jacqueline Foale exhibited Melody Park Grand Marnier to place second in the Pony Hack 13-13.2hh.

Demi Little rode Kelsey Della Bosca's, Nareagah Azura to win the Open Leading Rein Pony 12 hands and under.

Orleans Gratz had a great time while competing in the Open Leading Rein competition.

Melissa Ellery had a great day with her good moving mare, Sundale Shivanah by East Lynne Sapling. They started the day with Reserve Champion Led Mare then went on to win the Ridden Championship.

Brooke Rolfe rode her own Gordon Park Superstition to win the Open Pony Hack 13.2-14hh and the Medium Weight Hack. They then went on to be declared Champion Large Pony.

Louise Fraser rode Goldmine Silver Vintage by the famous Palomino stallion Claredale Champagne Charlie to place third in the Ridden Australian Stock Horse Gelding.

Kira Gusterson looks very pleased to have won the Leading Rein Rider Part I.

Sanlirra Mink Mittens exhibited by Fiona Morgan placed third in the Light Weight Pony Hack class.

Wish Upon A Star exhibited by Julie Morrison placed fourth in the Light Weight Pony Hack class..

Cimeron Prince Charming exhibited by Helen and Anna Duffy won the Champion Novice Pony 12.2-14hh and today received the second ribbon in the Pony Hack 12.2hh-13hh and fifth in the Light Weight Pony Hack.

Wirrendi Lodge Exquisite exhibited by Julie Cox working out in the Pony Hack 12.2-13hh.

Emily Drexel rode her beautiful Silkwood Heaven Can Wait to win the Light Weight Pony 12.2-14hh and go on to be declared Reserve Champion Large Pony.

Laura Grant rode Wendamar Chit Chat to place fourth in the Leading Rein Rider Part II.

It was all smiles for Geogia Johnson after she won the Leading Rein Rider Part II.

Alex Berwick from Victoria rode Emily and Anabella Drexel's good moving KB Dances, to win the Girls Pony 12.2-14hh and place second in the Medium Weight Pony and the Pony 13.2-14hh.

Rockview Rebound exhibited by Bodesha Robinson placed third in the Medium Weight Pony 12.2-14hh.

Darryl and Janine Eakin's two year old colt, Ferndales Monty by Greendykes Monty out shone his older peers to be awarded Supreme Champion Clydesdale Exhibit.

Hazelmere Yasmin exhibited by Helen and Anna Duffy won the Heavy Weight Pony 12.2-14hh.

There were good entries in all the pony classes especially in this line up for the Girls Pony 12.2-14hh.

Melissa Ganzer rode her own Scotch On Command by Flying Dollar Spin on Command, to win both the Junior Horse Hunter and the Junior Horse Western Pleasure.
