Laura Santry won the second round of the Six Year Old young Jumping Horse class and took fourth place overall riding her colourful, 'Marine Park Ringo' by Premier des Hayettes out of a Falcon Jigsaw mare. They also took out the Six Year Old Best Presented award and are pictured with L-R sponsor Mark Cloonan and judge, Michelle Strapp.

Andrew Bartlett is pictured with Carline Wagner's impressive import, 'WS Donnermann' by Sir Donnerhall. Described by judge , Emile Faurie as ,"a horse with great potential', Donnermann earned a score of 8.0 from Faurie and took second place overal in the Five Year Old Class for Riding Horses.

Daniella Dierks makes an impressive exit after claiming the Five Year Old Riding Horse Championship with Greg Farrell's Arabian Warmblood, 'Sugarloaf Sirhara', another by Sir Donnerhall. The mare earned a riding score of 9.0 from judge Emile Faurie who declared her, "a lovely mare, very rideable, with a natural uphill canter and three good paces". "Sugarloaf Sirhara" went on to be declared Champion of Champions.

Ben Terry really demonstrated what to expect from a dressage pony and took out the Champion of Champions Dressage Pony award with Andrea Taylor's super four year old 14.1hh mare, 'Rosewater Driving Miss Daisy' by FS Don't Worry.

Rodney Martin and Andrea Beatty claimed two out of three when Rodney rode, 'SS Sonata Hit' by Sandro Hit to take out the Six Year Old Riding Horse Championship. Sonata Hit earned 8.5 from Faurie who declared the gelding, "a really beautiful horse, elegant and responsive".

Brook Dobbin rode Alice Cooney's Canadian import, 'Silvo' to win the Current Stars jumping class.

Paul Brent rode his Animo Stallion, 'Animate' to sixth place in the Current Stars competition and was also declared Leading Stallion in the Future and Current Stars competition.

Melissa Froesch rode her 2008 Champion of Champions Young Jumping Horse, 'Glenara Bollinger' by Warlord II to second place in the Current Stars jumping class.

Antony Bartlett rode his own and Rae Hall's, 'KAP Triple Crown' to tenth place in the strong Four Year Old Horse Consolation class.

Jess Brown was bred for success, as was her Champion Six Year Old Jumper, 'Equus Echo'. Jess' parents, Rod and Cathy Brown of Equus Australia need no introduction to the world of showjumping, and Echo is similarly well bred being by Vivant out of the Cavalro Z mare, Cooee Z. Echo was declared Champion of Champions Jumping horse and was presented with the Sky High Perpetual Trophy presented by Bev Edwards. Bev and John Edwards have presented the trophy from the start of the Young Jumping programme in 2002.

Maree Tomkinson made a dramatic Grand Prix Freestyle debut with her own and Lyn Sultana's magnificent mare, 'Diamantina' by Diamond Hit. The daring and rather suspenseful music from the film, Elizabeth The Golden Age really suites the mare that certainly has quite a bit of Elizabeth R about her. The music was beautifully timed, especially for the passage/piaffe tour. They won the CDI/W Freestyle with 69.50%.

Heath Ryan and the super imported Rubinstein stallion, 'Regardez Moi' have led the way in Grand Prix Freestyle and the always entertaining, talented and popular pair took second place last night in the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI/W.

Tor van den Berge has just begun his Grand Prix career with Cheryl O'Brien's beautiful, imported Hanoverian stallion by Fabriano, 'Fisherman's Friend'. They took third place in the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI/W.
