Riding Pony of the Year Show

A delighted Tracey Heath led her colt, 'Birchwood Bubbling Over' by Myscal Encore to take out the Champion Owner/Handler Youngstock Exhibit award.

David Russell is on the run again, this time with Jan Langley's Ring 2 Champion Youngstock Filly In Hand, 'Langtree One Wish' (Langtree Composer/Langtree Oasis).

Dean Matthews and Chris Willmott's 'Ascot Party Music', (Ascot Classic Silk/Burren-Dah Party Girl) has been having a successful time in the showring this year and upped the ante today by taking out the Newcomer Riding Pony of the Year Reserve Championship.

A busy Ray Butler took out the Ring 1 Reserve Champion Filly award with Lyn King's 'Karlana Kiss 'N' Tell' (LJS Limited Edition/Willowcroft Limerick).

Carole Lindeman and the Silkwood Stud's 'Silkwood Touch of the Blues' (jackets Bluebird/Posh Spice of Astral) was shown by Jeremy Roberts to claim the Ring 2 Champion Youngstock Colt In Hand award.

"A glam pair". Melanie McGuire-Muller took out the Riding Pony Show Pony of the Year 2 and 3 Years Old In Hand Reserve Championship with her well named, 'Ascot Elizabeth Arden' (Ascot Classic Silk/Ascot Lisa Marie).

Darrren Telford did the honours with Michelle Labahn's yearling, 'Whitmere Lollipop' to claim the Ring 1 Champion Filly award. The lovely filly by Whitmere Prince of Pop out of the very successful mare, LJS Passion Pop that sadly died just two weeks ago. Lollipop went on to claim the prestigious Chippenham Stud Trophy donated by Alan, Sarah and Sally Redpath and awarded to the Grand Champion Youngstock Exhibit of the Year.

Nicole Starick's, 'Wyoming Park Monarch' (Kirreway Zambooka/Myall Glen Hollyold) poses beautifully for the camera during the judging of the Victorian Youngstock and Pony of the Year show on the beautiful Polocrosse field at Werribee Park. 'Monarch' was successful in both Led and Ridden classes.

Lyn King led her 'Taylyn Park Charlie' and Megan Carlile did the riding to take second place in the Leading Rein Pony of the Year class for rider 3 Years and Under 8 years.

Well known breeder and exhibitor, Suzy Burt did the honours with Jazz Casaccio who rode her , 'Caravale la Rina' to take third place in the class for Leading Rein Pony of the Year.

Holly Murray rode her wonderful and experienced new pony, 'Coniston Sportsman' to win both the Leading Rein and First Ridden Pony Of the Year classes and claim the "Rave Review" Mini Champion Ridden Pony of the Year award.

Sarina Quick and her 'Rave On Rathowen' (Courtland Boy Blue imp/Rebecca of Ravenswood) put their best foot forward during the class for Ridden Show Pony 12.2-13.2hh.

Lynda Hayes had a wonderful day with her own and Carmen Nowak's well performed mare, 'Kolbeach Aster' (Fernleigh Fine Print/Gemstone) to claim the Senior In Hand Pony of the Year as well as the Senior Ridden Show Pony of the Year title.

Well known Riding Pony breeder and exhibitor, Jan Langley got her super successful show off to a great start by claiming the Riding Pony Show Pony 2 & 3 Year Old of the Year award with 'Langtree Silk Road' (Fairley Temptation/Trellech Chantilly Silk imp), shown well by David Russell who we hope is a permanent visitor from Great Britain.

Emily Mckernan rode Elizabeth Carlile's eyecatching 'Keira Park Cascade' (Karlana Say Farewell/Keira Park Amber). The typey Riding Pony/Welsh/Arabian has just completed his first year under saddle, and despite being lightly shown was very successful. They are pictured working out in the Senior Show Pony of the Year Championship.

Emma Richardson's 'Hibrie Spring Chatter' (Urubula Regal Promise/Tallyrand Spring Fever) is pictured during the workout for Senior Ridden Show Pony Of the Year.

Riley Baker is pictured aboard Carole Lindeman and the Silkwood Stud's 'Silkwood Fairy Wings' 'Silkwood Puss 'N' Boots/Silkwood Seventh Heaven) during the work out for Senior Ridden Show Pony of the Year.

Grace Hill rode Jan Langley's 'Langtree Dell Amore' (Fairley Temptation imp/Cusop Diamond imp) to be declared Champion Child's Ridden Show/Show Hunter Pony of the Year, and Reserve Champion Ridden Show Pony of the Year.

Kayla Bacchetto rode Jo Devrome's splendid, 'Willowcroft Distinction' by Willowcroft Regal Emblem to take out both the Reserve Champion Led and Ridden Show Hunter Pony of the Year awards.

Nadine Wileman is pictured aboard her'Dresden Park Victoria' (Owendale Mr Pickwick/Dresden Park Rachel) during the work out for Ridden Show Hunter Pony off the Year.

Greg Mickan rode Sarah Berry's super 'Langtree Masterpiece' (Wedgenock Coffee Pot/Weston Mannequin) to take out the impressive double; Champion Led and Champion Ridden Show Hunter Pony of the Year.

Holly Dennison is pictured with her good working, 'Lismere Pollyanna' (Urubula Regal Promise/Yeoway Pollyanna) during the workout for Show Hunter Pony of the Year.

Ray Butler was out early for the Victorian Riding Pony Committee Youngstock and Riding Pony Of the Year Show with his 'Karlana Serenade'. The lovely filly won the Ring 1 class for Filly 2 Years Old N.E. 12.2hh.

Indi Shepheard rode Melanie McGuire-Muller's 'Ascot Toy Maker' (Gaylord of Ascot/Downland Solitaire) in the ride off for Show Hunter Pony of the Year.

Jan Langley's day finished as it began, successfully. Sueanne Vale rode the five year old, 'Langtree Desert Song' (Fairley temptation imp/Cusop Delight imp) to take out the Grand Parade Perpetual Trophy for Champion Newcomer Riding Pony of the Year as well as the Amy Stewart Memorial Trophy for Grand Champion Ridden Riding Pony of the Year.

Melissa McCauley took out the Champion Youngstock Show Hunter Pony In Hand award with her , 'Wyuna Dashing' (Myscal Encore/Windermere Design).

Chantelle Damschke did the honours with Dianne Proctor's, 'Alpine Park Magical' (Willowcroft Regal Tribute/Poppi) that was declared Ring 2 Reserve Champion Youngstock Gelding In Hand.

Simon De Leeuw is pictured with Judy Ivory's Ring 2 Champion Youngstock Gelding In Hand, 'Merivale Park Kings Ransom (Myscal Encore/Fairleigh Camilla imp).

Jeremy Roberts led Trudy Kenny and Anne Payne's, 'Alta Vista Dance With The Stars' (Rathowen Song and Dance/Alta Vista Shania) to claim the Ring 2 Youngstock Show Hunter In Hand Championship.

Lyn Young led her 'Foxdale Park Pipe Dreams' (Salient Master Bronze/Supreme Cascade) to take out the Ring 2 Reserve Champion Youngstock Show Hunter In Hand award.
