Sensational Victorian combination, Sara Love and her wonder, Hunter/Dressage horse/Garyowen mount, 'Tulloch Ard' won both the Intermediate 1 and Prix St Georges Dressage competition on the first day of the ActewAGL Royal Canberra Show.

Melanie Skinner rode her own and Mrs D Godfrey's 'Robbanie Mister Squiggle' to win the class for Novice Pony 13-13.2hh.

Gina Montgomery rode the Revelwood Warmblood Stud's super imported Sandro Hit stallion, 'Smash Hit' to win the Open Elementary competition with 66.7%. Later in the day, 'Smash Hit' was declared Champion Led Sport Horse.

Well known and seemingly ageless, Christie Hall rode the Wells Family's 'Geisha Girl' to third place in the class for Novice Lightweight Galloway 14-14.2hh.

Carlene Nossiter rode her 'Janevelyn Moment of Truth' to second place in the class for Novice Lightweight Galloway 14.2-15hh.

A busy Jess Stalling rode the McDowall Family's 'Rothwell Song Sung Blue' to win the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh and go on to take out the Sally Watkins and Emma's Show Horse Accessories Best Novice Small Pony.

Courtney Christie rode her own and Alana Austin's 'Myscal Kestrel' to take fourth place in the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh.

Jamie Priestley rode the Priestley Family's 'Langtree Boutique' to sixth place in the class for Novice Pony 12-12.2hh.

Brittanie Dally rode Gary Alcorn's 'Fairytale of Ascot' to win the class for Novice Pony N.E. 12hh.
