Alex Berwick is certainly on a roll with her own and Sarah McMaster's outstanding, 'Xlerate' that was today declared Reserve Champion Large Hack at the RT Edgar Equestrian Victoria State Titles. Their performance earned them a berth to ride for their state at the national Titles in December.

Kristen White rode Dr Kerry Mack's, 'Mayfield Be Brave' by Brentano II out of White Girl, and a former Dressage With The Stars Young Dressage Horse winner, to take out the Large Show Hunter Hack Reserve Championship.

Sally Shaw rode Jodie Van Breuguls well performed, 'Salisbury My Guy' to take out the Show Hunter Galloway Reserve Championship title.

Greg Mickan gallops his way to a hat trick of State Show Hunter Galloway title riding the Romsey Park and Sarah Berry, 'Langtree Masterpiece'. Greg and the great working and typey, Masterpiece now have a chance to claim back to back National titles in December.

Rebecca Richards has had great success with her "big beauty" and ex racehorse, 'Dymondz'. With the weather looking decidedly good for hunting, Rebecca took out the Show Hunter 15-16hh Championship earning another trip to the Nationals in December.

Equestrian personality, Laura Thomas, known to give a super display of side saddle riding, stepped astride Samantha Fraser's well performed, 'Star On Fire' to make Show Hunter Horse Over 16hh Top Ten.

Sarah O'Connor is another rider to take advantage of Dr Kerry Mack's Mayfield Farm produce, and rode her eye-catching, 'Mayfield Whim' to make Top Ten Show Hunter Horse Over 16hh.

Rebecca Farran intends to hand back to ride to Samantha McMaster after she again claimed the Victorian State Show Hunter Over 16hh title with Samantha's reining National Champion large Show Hunter Horse, 'DP Destiny'

Darry Hayes shows no sign of letting his strong hold on the Galloway ranks. He is pictured producing another super workout riding Ashley Reid's well performed, 'Wesswood Royal Caste' that was declared Reserve Champion Small Galloway.

Darryl Hayes is nothing but even handed when it comes to his clients. Darryl rode Graham Elliot's beautiful new Galloway, 'Holly's Galaxy' to finish equal second on points with Wesswood Royal Caste after the Small Galloway Top Ten ride off. The judges were then asked to independently nominate the Reserve.

Rose McEvoy stepped aboard her sister Alice's, well performed, 'Gordon Park Masquerade' to take out the Small Galloway Championship. It turned out to be wonderful after sales service as the charming horse has just been sold to Charlotte McMaster from little River. The other McEvoy girls also had a good day, with Lily taking out the Junior Intermediate Rider Championship and Alice claiming the Reserve award.

During the lunch break, well known racehorse trainer, Quona Cooke, who has a background in showing, judged a Led and Ridden ASB Thoroughbred class. Belinda Cusworth took out the Ridden title with her lovely four year old by Reading, 'Aspen Park Icon'.

Darryl Hayes rode Jane Show's all conquering, 'Royalwood Concerto' to take out the RT Edgar State Large Galloway Championship.

It was a case of all in the family when Dale Plumb rode India Mitchell's, Royalwood Centre Stage' to take out the Large Galloway Reserve Championship. Centre Stage is a full brother to Concerto. Both are by Royalwood Boy Soprano out of the Thoroughbred mare, Knowing.

Jordy Wright rode her well performed and purpose bred show horse, 'Aspirations of Sefton' that made large Galloway Top Ten.

Whatever the weather, Lynda Hayes puts in a good performance. Lynda is pictured with Daria Vella's, Barastoc Reserve Champion Newcomer Hack, 'Wingrove Fine Line' that made State Finals, Small Hack Top Ten.

Shae Hanger produces a lovely workout with her beautiful, 'South Africa' that made Small Hack Top Ten.

Briony Payne recently sold her successful hack, 'Nadal' to well known showing identity, Kerry Mulgrew. Briony stepped aboard again at the RT Edgar Victorian State Titles and claimed the Small Hack Championship and with it an invitation to the Nationals in November.

Whatever the weather! As the afternoon deteriorated the hacks came out to play. Chanel Hunter will soon forget the rain when she contemplates her invitation to the National titles in December. Chanel claimed the Small Hack Reserve title with her beautiful, 'Crewe'.
