Victorian Young Rider, Shannon McKimmie rode her Samba Hit gelding, 'Ambassi' to take third place with 65.95% in the Pryde's Easifeed FEI Young Rider Freestyle CDI/Y.

Seemingly with wings to help him fly, Fern Wright rode her super Welsh Cob, 'Kamber Pryderi' (Burrowa Sportsman's Last/Imperial Martha) to win the Pryde's EasiFeeds FEI Young Rider Freestyle CDI/Y with 66.50%. Fern and her flying D have qualified for the FEI Young Rider World Cup.

Elliott Patterson won the Individual Young Rider competition yesterday, riding Ron Patterson's Laurie's Crusader gelding,' Leandro', but today they could manage only fourth place in the FEI Young Rider Freestyle.

Western Australian rider, Deon Stokes rode Kate Barton's imported Belissimo M stallion, 'Bellario' to dominate the Ray White Acreage Medium Championship. With scores of 71.11% and 71.41% they won both classes on offer and claimed the 2012 Australian Medium title.

They performed to the dramatic and majestic music from the film Elizabeth R that was rather fitting for the newly crowned 2012 Australian Grand Prix Champions.

Queensland rider, Sheridyn Ashwood rounded off a top three of relative Grand Prix newcomers in the Hamilton Island Freestyle on Saturday night. She rode her delightful, imported Olympic Silvano stallion, 'Prestige VDL' to take third place with 67.45%.

David Shoobridge had the NSW crowd on their feet after his Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle test riding the Revelwood Warmblood Stud's imported Rubinstein stallion, 'OO Seven'. They came close to taking the class, but on this occasion had to settle for second place with 69.15%.
