Popular local rider, Tegan Chester rode her newly acquired, 'Ellesmere Derilyn' to win the Junior Championship class on a rather damp morning.

Emily Ubegang rode her, 'Early Times' to take fourth place in the Junior Championship this morning.

Andrew Wootten shows the determination that saw him take this place in the Junior Championship third morning riding, 'Falcon Fin McCool'.

Sarah Louise McMillan from NSW was second In the Junior Championship riding her 'Lanarkshire Lad' (pictured) and third riding, 'The Countryman'.

"Ah, what's up doc?" Les Symons from Bermagui hams it up for the cameras. The popular rider won the Overall Veterans Bronze Section riding his 'Sym Beachdoll'. The magnificent carrots presented to all placegetters were supplied by Corvinos from Leongatha.

Alex Rooney (pictured aboard Paris Texas) won the Bronze Tour Amateur Section riding her 'Hylton Park Calypso'.

Olympian and coach, Jamie Coman rode Laura (Darvall) Santry's eight year old Metall gelding, 'Marine' to claim the Bronze Section Open Championship. Jamie is pictured with Event Coordinator and Ground Jury President, Anne Garner.

Jenny Parlevliet from Launching Place won the Sale World Cup Qualifier in 1994 riding Another Flood and rode the Flooding gelding at the Atlanta Olympic Games. Jenny's history kept her form the Silver Amateur Section, but never mind, she won the Open Section instead riding her 'Sammi' that is out of the dam of Another Flood.

Brett Clarke from Bega riding, 'GH Tiger Lily' joined up with Moe Pony Club member, Lauren Pollock aboard 'Doodie' to win the Pro Am Rescue Relay.

Rebecca Carrolan from Bushy Park Pony Club is pictured riding Jess Barton's 'Face Up To It'. They were placed in the Pro Am class and the eye catching hack and jumper is due to be returned to it's owner.

Lachlan Brennan rode the Brennan Partnership's 'Raylyn's Eliza' to fourth place in the Young Rider Selection Squad Event today. Each state has two selection events all built to the same dimensions, from which 20 Young Riders are invited to be part of the National Squad.

Law student, Kate Brideoake rode her, 'Belle Gizelle' to second place in the National Young Rider Selection Squad Event.

Sam Williams from Tonimbuk rode his well preformed, 'Isle of Rahh' to third place in the National Young Rider Selection Squad event.

Stuart Brennan is pictured riding the Brennan Partnership's, 'Snowy River Offsider' in the tough Young Rider National Squad Qualifier. Each state has two qualifiers, all built t o the same dimensions with the 20 best performed riders invited on to th National Squad.

Nicholas Sheehan who works for Chris and Helen Chugg won the National Young Rider Squad Qualifier riding his well performed, 'Bonadventure'.

The Stratford Pony Club Junior Members were rounded up for this picture during their visit to The Elms Spring Jumping Classic.

Chris Chugg jumped a beautiful first round aboard 'Vivant' in the Sale World Cup Qualifier, but was just a bit shy of the clock for the addition of one time penalty. A further five penalties in the second round saw this talented combination take second place. Chris cannot be overtaken on the World Cup table having, before Sale won six of the last eight Qualifiers.

Gippsland Dairy Farmer, Wes Joyce rode his 'Irish Ace' to seventh place in the Sale World Cup Qualifier.

Jono Berry makes a lovely jump aboard Kerrie Winning's 'Yandoo Quincy Z' during the Sale World Cup Qualifier. Jono took fifth place aboard the talented Quick Star stallion.

From Warwick in Queensland, Robert Goodwin took third place in the Sale World Cup Qualifier riding his wonderful stallion, 'Warrego Sandon'.

Chris Chugg was the only World Cup rider to have multiple rides. Chris is pictured with the Australian Sporthorse Breeders' imported Clinton Stallion, 'Conquistador' that took fourth place in the Qualifier.

Paul Athanasoff was truck driver, groom and rider this weekend. Going solo seems to suit the experienced rider as he rode his and Charlie Hooke's super home bred stallion, 'Wirragulla Nicklaus' to win the Sale World Cup Qualifier. Nicklaus and Paul also gained their full WEG Certificate of Capability from their clear first round.

The final day of "The Elms Spring Jumping Carnival was beset with some rather tumultuous weather. Jamie Kermond coped the worst of it with Des Russell's in form and promising. stallion, 'Valhalla'. They jumped two lovely clear rounds to take third place.

Jamie Winning is easing her 'Yandoo Vangelo' back in to domestic competition after his trip to Europe. Van, with a nice clipping job is pictured during the Mini Prix, and the worst of the weather.

Brook Dobbin from Yarra Glen rode his 'Belcam Advisor' by Belcam Agassi to win the tough Gold Tour Mini Prix this afternoon.
