Umbrellas and full length rain coats were certainly the most sought after items on the day, the judges spending most of the day under the cover of brollies. Many spectators searched the trade stands for raincoats for sale, but not with much luck though

It got so wet at times with the storms coming through that the committee made the sensible decision to let riders put on wet weather gear, Sarah McMaster decided she had enough of getting soaked and like many others took up the offer whilst riding "Moniceito Park Royal Flush" in the Childrens Galloway over 14.2 and not exceeding 15hh

Tori Fair cantered through the puddles like a pro in the Childerns Pony over 12.2hh and not exceeding 14hh riding "Hillgrove Gracious"

Shelley Penny had the unfortunate experience of riding in one of the heaviest downpours of the day in the Horse Deals Debutante Show Hunter Galloway 14hh-not exceeding 15hh Class. It didn't however dampen her spirits, Shelley being a very experienced rider went straight for the slightly more weather resistant show jacket after the class ended.
