It's going to be a big night at the Haye's Family Household tonight, Darryl taking home 2 of the Open Championships, and wife Linda taking out Champion Open Pony over 12.2hh not exceeding 14hh onboard the Graeme Elliott owned "Kolbeach Promise", this combination currently proving hard to beat over the current season so far.
Daryl Hayes was in the winners Circle more than he was out of it, this time taking out Champion Open Galloway over 14hh but not exceeding 14.2hh, Darryl riding "Wesswood Royal Caste" owned by Ashley Reid
Jan Langleys "Langtree Catchphrase" was the Champion Open Galloway over 14.2hh and not exceeding 15hh
Simon De Leeuw's "Rothwell Romantic Poet" was runner up in the Open Large Galloway Class
Christy O'Sullivan's "Kookaburra" always manages to turn a few heads seen here in the Open Small Hack Class
Runner up in the Open Small Hack Class was Christine Frost's "Elmdale Park Poise", with 34 high quality entries in the class, competition was stiff
Rachel Keskinen's "R K Request" looked spledid and took out Champion Open Hack Over 15hh not exceeding 16hh, and was ridden by the very succesful Daryl Hayes.
Runner Up in the Large Hack Class was Rose McIvoy and "Grazier", looking in terrific form. It was good to see a lot of the younger riders making it through to the final 10, and in fact dominating the Large Hack Class mixing it up with the older and more experienced riders
Christine Frost's "SLM Prestige" also made it through to the Final 10 for the Open Large Hacks
Rachel Triffett's "SLM Thrill" in the Open Large Hack Class looking terrificly turned out in the afternoon sun. The SLM Horses certainly seem to be making a presence in the Open Hack Classes
Champion Large Hack Over 16hh went to a delighted Stephanie Barrington & "LA"
Champion Shetland Pony Not exceeding 10.2hh went to "Pilinta Park Kimba" owned by Kara Woolcock and Narelle Munday
