Rachael Sanna had to be content today with second place in the Goldin Grand Prix CDI riding Bev Edwards' Alabaster gelding, 'Jaybee Alabaster'. with 65.78%.

New Zealand international rider, Jody Hartstone rode her newly purchased ex Australian and originally from Europe, Weltmeyer stallion ,'Whisper IV' to score 60.29% and 12th place in the Goldin Grand Prix.

Heath Ryan is pictured riding Leesa Miles' gelding, 'Jacobello Del Fiore' by Jive Magic in the IRT Advanced Championship for eleventh place in the 5C with 60.70%..

Japanese Team member, Tomoko Nakamura rode Alexis Hellier's , 'Argyle' to take a very creditable tenth place in the Riders Shoppe Intermediate 1 with 62.52%.

Rodney Martin rode Andrea Beatty's Sandro Hit gelding, 'SS Sonata Hit' in to third place with 7.68 after the first round of the Hanoverian Horse Association 4 Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Katrina Smith rode her Jive Magic gelding, 'Just Dance R' to fourth place after the first round of the Hanoverian Horse Association 4 Year Old Young Horse Championship with a score of 7.54..

The FEI veterinarian in attendance, Julian Willmore generously gave some time over to lecturing the various groups of school children invited to attend the Sydney CDI. Back on the Grand Prix Tour, Glennis Barrey rode her Calypso Classic gelding, 'Classico II' to score 60.38% for eleventh place in the Goldin Grand Prix CDI.

Popular NSW rider, Shaun France rode her Regardez Moi gelding, 'Rubenesque' in the IRT Advanced Championship.

Lesley Anne Taylor is really on the move with her impressive and imported Wenckstern mare, 'Welpe's Countess'. They earned 62.34% to take a good seventh place in the Goldin Grand Prix CDI.

Charlotte Pedersen produced a really promising test riding Susannah Clarke's imported Danish gelding, 'Come To Me' to take third place in the Goldin Grand Prix CDI with 64.89%..

Denise Rogan was in full flight aboard her 'APH Romarn' by Rocadero during the Goldin Grand Prix CDI. They finished in 14th place with 59.27%.

Young Victorian rider, Hayley Gilbert and her Jazz mare, 'Odiana K' are pictured as they power their way to a creditable 13th place in the Goldin Grand Prix CDI with 59.40%.

Verity Spargo demonstrated some good work during the Goldin Grand Prix CDI riding her APH Socrates gelding, 'APH Faust'.

It was a momentous day for Rozzie Ryan and her Jazz stallion, 'Jive Magic'. Rozzie bought Jive as a foal and has produced him, not without setback over the years to break through to the top today and win their first CDI 3* Grand Prix with 66.08%. Rozzie was unstoppable as she also took out the Intermediate 1 riding Olivia Bunn's eventer, 'GV Bullwinkle' by Rocadero.

Gabriella Robson from Western Australia rode her 'Doncartier' by Donnerhall to take fifth place in the Swish Horse Young Rider CDI/Y Freestyle.

NSW Young Event Rider of the Year, Megan Bryant proved that she can do more than just gallop across country. Megan received a wild card entry to the Swish Horse FEI CDI/Y. She made the most of the opportunity by winning both the Individual competition with 67.54% and the CDI/Y Freestyle with 70.25% riding her super Don Ramiro mare , 'Donnabella'.

Victoria Welsh rode her 'Remi World Vision' by Wolkenstein II to second place in both the Swish Horse FEI CDI/Y Individual, 67.54% and the Freestyle with 68.16%.
