Gary Lung took second place over all in the Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Four Year Old Young Horse class with his good working, Weltmeyer gelding 'GB Winchester' that is out of Glennys Barrey's well-performed mare, GB Saffron'.

South Australian competitor, Ruth Schneeberger took sixth place over all in the HHSA Five Year Old Young Horse class with her 'Flowervale Freereign' by Freestyle.

Heather Currie finished in overall tenth place in the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse class with her 'Freestyler' by Falkland.

Lindal Birch and her 'Jaybee Leilani' by Jaybee Leuwin out of Jaybee Louella, took sixth place overall in the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Connie Bookless and her 'Fimbriata' by the well-performed Fisherman's Friend were seventh overall in the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Christine Crawford looks to be enjoying her ride on Madelain Swan's Jazz Song' by Jazz during the HHSA Five Year Old Young Dressage Horse Championship. Jazz Song took fourth place overall.

Anne Riley with her own, 'Flowervale Houlana', a mare by Houston during the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship. The mare was a little shy to begin, but warmed well into her test. She finished in tenth place overall.

Hayley Gilbert took eighth place overall in the HHSA Four Year Old Young Dressage Championship with 'Belcam Cynara' by Capone.

Helen Campbell rode her 'Nova Cruz' by Carbine out of an Aachimedes mare to take third place overall in the HHSA Five Year Old Young Dressage Horse Championship.

Lizzie Wilson-Fellows rode Susan Fidler's 'Let's Entertain' by Gracefield Klaus to take fourth place overall in the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Alycia Targa rode Jane and Maurie Bruce's 'Neversfelde Weltsong' by Weltmeyer out of the super well-performed mare, Neversfelde Kudu, to win the HHSA Five Year Old Young Dressage Horse Championship.

Judy Dierks rode her daughter Daniella's 'HP Frontier' by Falkrich to win the Australian Sports Commission Grand Prix Special with 65.56%.

Sara McDonald rode her very well performed young horse, 'Adlanta Rose' by Rotspon out of Adloo Georgia to take fourth place in the HHSA Six Year Old Young Dressage Horse Championship.

Nichola Paff rode her stallion, 'Heathmont Echo' , another by Rotspon, to take sixth place in the HHSA Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Alexis Hellyer took fifth place in the HHSA Young Horse Championship with her Weltmeyer gelding, 'Waca W'.

Dianne White rode her Weltmeyer gelding, 'Barjar Winston' to take second place overall in the HHSA Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Rachael Sanna with Elise Ball's Sandro Song gelding, 'CP Sangria'. The Oldenburg import took seventh place overall in the HHSA Six Year Old Young Horse Championship.

Daniella Dierks rode Greg and Katherine Farrell's Contango II gelding, 'Concordance', to take third place in the IRT Advanced Tournament Freestyle with 66.41%.

Sharon Potter with her Richmead Medallion gelding,'Montevideo'. They took fifth place in the IRT Tournament Advanced Freestyle.

Nicholas Fyffe rode Phil Rapson's imported Rohdiamont gelding, 'Rhodes' to take second place in the IRT Advanced Tournament with 67.91%.

Tor van den Berge has had a fantastic show, which included making a clean sweep of the IRT Advanced Tournament riding Cheryl O'Brien's imported Hanoverian stallion 'Fisherman's Friend' by Fabriano. They won the Advanced Freestyle with 73.83%.

Japanese rider, Saho Takayama rode Nicole Magoffin's'Jaybee Anzac' to win the NSW Sport and Recreation Prix St George Derby. The Japanese Team took second place in the Horseland Teams competition. (Nicole is pictured with Jaybee Anzac during the presentation)

Pia Fortmuller from Canada took second place in the NSW Sport and Recreation Derby riding Elise Ball's 'CP Perolus' and helped the Canadian Team win the Horseland Teams Competition.

Nicholas Fyffe won the HHSA Four Year Old Young Horse Championship with Helen McCaskill's Rotspon gelding, 'Neversfelde Rupert'.

Kate Taylor-Wheat with her super and talented and imported World Magic gelding,'World Star'. World Star received high marks, including a nine plus for his walk, and high praise from German guest rider, Jorn Kubelke. He won the HHSA Six Year Old Young Horse Championship and was declared overall Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Champion Young Horse.

The Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia guest trainer and riding judge for the Sydney CDI Young Horse Championship, Jorn Kubelke. The Society organises regular training trips to Australia for the well qualified Bereiter (qualified horse trainer) to help with the training of Society member's horses.

Hayley Gilbert with her Jazz mare, 'Odiana K'. They took fourth place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 66.95%.

A beautifully turned out (no less than we expect) Caroline Wagner with her 'WS Nevada' during the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle.

Rozzie Ryan's Jazz stallion, 'Jive Magic', with Heath aboard, puts his best foot forward. They took second place in the Zilco Intermediate Freestyle with 71.50%.

Tor van den Berge could do no wrong this weekend. He is pictured riding Kay Sutherland's delightful, imported mare, 'Florett' by Florestan. This combination made a clean sweep of the Small Tour, winning the Gow Gates Prix St George, the EFA Return of the Horse Intermediate 1 and the Zilco Intermediate 1 Freestyle.

"If you want hair, he is the one for you", commented Master of Ceremonies, Roger Fitzhardinge. The impressive Fresian stallion, 'Django of Cacharel, shown by Tashkent Fresians and ridden by Jeremy Jangjic .was part of the popular Stallion Tender, presented before the Hamilton Island Grand Prix.

Amelia Kristian is delighted with her Jaguar gelding 'Jahnus' after the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle. Amelia's music from the sound track of Moulin Rouge was the most entertaining of the night. We are not sure though what the judges thought of "Voulez-vous couchez avec moi?"

'Captain' Heath Ryan again rode Dr Margaret Evan's wonderful and ever improving Rubinstein stallion, 'Regardez Moi' to win the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 72.05%. Heath and "Fabio" have formed a great partnership and as always produced a super test to the music from Pirates of the Caribbean.

This DPI Official (aka Simon Barrey) is continuing to keep EI at bay and disinfecting the arena for the prize giving ceremony.

Victorian rider Pauline Carnovale was delighted with her second place in the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle riding 'Clifton Court Luccini' by Lucano, with 66.35%
