South Australian competitor, Ruth Schneeberger took sixth place over all in the HHSA Five Year Old Young Horse class with her 'Flowervale Freereign' by Freestyle.

Tor van den Berge has had a fantastic show, which included making a clean sweep of the IRT Advanced Tournament riding Cheryl O'Brien's imported Hanoverian stallion 'Fisherman's Friend' by Fabriano. They won the Advanced Freestyle with 73.83%.

World Star received high marks, including a nine plus for his walk, and high praise from German guest rider, Jorn Kubelke. He won the HHSA Six Year Old Young Horse Championship and was declared overall Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia Champion Young Horse.
The Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia guest trainer and riding judge for the Sydney CDI Young Horse Championship, Jorn Kubelke. The Society organises regular training trips to Australia for the well qualified Bereiter (qualified horse trainer) to help with the training of Society member's horses.

This combination made a clean sweep of the Small Tour, winning the Gow Gates Prix St George, the EFA Return of the Horse Intermediate 1 and the Zilco Intermediate 1 Freestyle.
"If you want hair, he is the one for you", commented Master of Ceremonies, Roger Fitzhardinge. The impressive Fresian stallion, 'Django of Cacharel, shown by Tashkent Fresians and ridden by Jeremy Jangjic .was part of the popular Stallion Tender, presented before the Hamilton Island Grand Prix.
Amelia Kristian is delighted with her Jaguar gelding 'Jahnus' after the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle. Amelia's music from the sound track of Moulin Rouge was the most entertaining of the night. We are not sure though what the judges thought of "Voulez-vous couchez avec moi?"
'Captain' Heath Ryan again rode Dr Margaret Evan's wonderful and ever improving Rubinstein stallion, 'Regardez Moi' to win the Hamilton Island Grand Prix Freestyle with 72.05%. Heath and "Fabio" have formed a great partnership and as always produced a super test to the music from Pirates of the Caribbean.
