Victoria Luxford and her 'Perfect Encounter' put their best foot forward during the dressage phase of the Equestrian NSW CCI Three Star competition. They are in fifth place heading to the cross country tomorrow with a score of 55.20.

The Sydney Three Day Event incorporated a final hit out for the Australian based WEG Dressage Team hopefuls. The ever popular Blas Lago is pictured in full flight with his talented 'Northern Hector'.

Rachael Sanna produced a restrained but correct test riding Bev and John Edwards' 'Jaybee Alabaster' in the WEG Team Grand Prix. It was a assured performance and one that should earn them a trip to Kentucky.

The Australian based WEG Eventing Team team hopefuls presented for a command performance during the Sydney Three Day Event. Although not a competition, they will perform a Four Star dressage test, run cross country, with different questions asked of different combinations and then jump a Four Star track on Sunday. Sonja Johnson is pictured with her number two horse, Nikki Brooks', 'Parkiarrup Illicit Liaison', tenth after the dressage phase with 58 penalties.

Christopher Burton is pictured with Jean and Jade Findlay's, Sydney World Cup winner, 'Holstein Park Leilani'. They have taken fourth place in the WEG test with 55.20 penalties.

Shane Rose was busy with Jonnie Walker's 'Taurus'. They hold fourth place in the Equestrian NSW CCI Three Star with 54.60. They also presented for the WEG Four Star Test and are in seventh place with 55.80 penalties.

Stuart Tinney had three rides in the WEG command performance. He is pictured riding Tim Game's talented mare, 'Panamera' that earned 55.50 and fifth place after the Four Star dressage test. Stuart is in third place with 'Peter O'Connell and Cathy Ward's 'Vettori', 52.70 and in eighth place with Sarah Ingham's 'Watermark Grayson' , 56.00.

New Zealand WEG Team hopeful again impressed with his talented Thoroughbred, 'Orient Express'. They took second place in the dressage phase with 52.20 and it is hard to imagine the Kiwi's leaving this classy combination off the team.

Victorian, Amanda Ross was another rider to have a busy day riding her , Koyuna Tora Bora'. They are in sixth place in the Equestrian Australia CCI Three Star competition with 56.50 and eleventh place in the Special WEG class with 61.80.

Megan Jones leads the WEG hopefuls riding her wonder horse, 'Kirby Park Irish Jester' with a score of 44.30. Megan also rode her Kirby Park Allofasudden' (pictured) to ninth place in the Equestrian Australia CCI Three Star competition with 59.60. They improved their form in the Special WEG class to take sixth place with 55.70 penalties.
