Isabelle McLachlan added just cross country time penalties riding her, 'Ventura' to hold 12th place heading into the CCI1 Star showjumping phase tomorrow.

Bred for the job, Junior Rider, Oliver Barrett, the son of international riders, Craig and Prue Barrett was second after the dressage phase yesterday and with nothing to add today leads the CCI 1 Star field riding, 'Ballyhoo' with a score of 26.10 penalties.

Another rider bred for the sport, Gemma Tinney had a great cross country day and is pictured aboard, 'Diabolo'. They added nothing to their dressage score and hold second place in the CCI1 Star.

Jess Somerfield produced a perfect cross country run aboard, 'Lakeview Albion' to hold provisional fourth place in the CCI1 Star competition on 30 penalties.

Stuart Tinney rode the very promising looking, 'Celebration' to add just 6.4 cross country time penalties to hold seventh place in the CNC2 Star heading into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Rachael Temm and 'Cece Moscato' copped the worst of the weather this morning, but nonetheless produced a good cross country run for the addition of just 5.6 time penalties. They hold provisional eighth place in the CNC 2 Star with 44.70 penalties.

A busy Shane Rose missed a perfect cross country run aboard, 'Ultimate Velocity' by just 0.4 of a time penalty. They hold provisional fifth place in the CNC2 Star heading into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Shenae Lowings from WA and her, 'Luscious Lexie' added just 1.6 cross country time penalties to move from seventh to provisional second place in the CNC 2 Star competition.

This looks like fun. Jessica Green and, 'TS Fantasia' look to be jumping for joy during their CNC 2 Star crass country run. They jumped clear, just adding time penalties to their dressage score.

Gemma Tinney took the lead in the CNC 2 Star after the dressage phase yesterday riding Jane and John Pittard's, 'Annapurna'. She held that lead today with just the addition of 0.8 time penalties and heads into the final jumping phase tomorrow with 31.40 penalties.

Georgia Barnett's, 'Eskimo Rob' looks full of running over this fence on the CNC 2 Star cross country course. They jumped clear with just the addition of cross country time penalties.

Experienced and successful eventing rider, Natalie Blundell jumped clear with just the addition of time penalties to hold provisional sixth place in the CNC 2 Star riding, 'Riverside Princess'.

Successful eventing rider and coach, Sam Lyle added nothing to his dressage score to move from 12th to provisional third place riding, 'BF Valour' in the CNC 2 Star competition.

A busy Stuart Tinney holds provisional seventh place in the CNC 2 Star class riding, 'Leporis'.

Young Rider, Thea Horsley is pictured aboard her, 'Kelecyn Supernatural' jumping one of the original Sydney 2000 Olympic fences during their CCI2 Star cross country run. They added nothing to their dressage score and hold provisional third place heading into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Experienced and eventing rider and horseman, Tim Boland kept his lead in the CCI2 Star with a perfect run riding his, 'Napoleon'.

Annabelle Armstrong added nothing to her dressage score riding, 'Forgetmenot' to hold provisional fifth place heading into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Megan Jones produced a strong cross country run aboard her, 'Kirby Park Impress'. They added just 2.4 time penalties to hold provisional second place going into the final jumping phase of the CCI 3 Star tomorrow.

Emma Bishop and 'CP Issey Miyake' added just six cross country time penalties to their dressage score, but it was enough to see them slip from second to provisional third place in the CCI 3 Star competition.

Popular combination, Hazel Shannon and, 'Willinga Park Clifford' produced a clear jumping run and with the addition of eight time penalties, they hold provisional sixth place in the CCI 3 Star competition.

Amanda Ross produced a confident cross country run aboard Cassie and Frazer Brown's, 'Koko Popping Candy' this afternoon. They added just 5.6 time penalties to retain their lead in the CCi 3 Star competition heading into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Nothing fishy about Robert Palm and , 'Koko Story'. The talented little Thoroughbred was the only horse in the CCI 3 Star to come in under time. Their efforts saw them move from 12th after the dressage to provisional fifth place going into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

"Got the fish, now to the next fence". At least that is what Christine Bates and 'Adelaide Hill' look to be saying. They jumped clear, but the addition of 7.6 time penalties saw them slip from second to fourth place. But tomorrow is another day.

Deon Stokes and, 'Koyuna Levi' hold provisional CNC 3 Star sixth place after a clear jumping run across country.

Shane Rose and his Vivant gelding, 'Virgil' look to be working as one on the CNC 3 Star cross country course. They jumped clear with time penalties, but they still hold the provisional lead as they head into the final jumping phase tomorrow.

Emma Mason and, 'Warrego Marco Polo' make a super jump on the CNC 3 Star cross country course. However, the addition of time penalties saw them slip from second to provisional fourth place.

Robert Palm jumps this traditional cross country fence aboard Nina Clarke's careful Thoroughbred, 'LP Boudin'. They hold provisional ninth place in the CNC 3 Star competition.

Olivia Barton and 'APH Bertie Bad' produced the best cross country run of the CNC 3 Star competition. Clear jumping and with only 5.2 time penalties to add, they hold provisional second place.
