Jess Barton from Warnambool in Victoria took second place in the Novice 16-16.2hh class with her 'Face Up To It'.

David Quayle rode 'Killarney' bred by the Quayle family and exhibited by the rider and Sally Watkins. Killarney measured down from the Novice Over 16.2hh class to take third place in the Novice 16-16.2hh class.

Peter Richardson rode jJulie Butler and C & S Smith's 'Magestic' to win the Novice 16-16.2hh class.

Dale Lyons rode her own 'Petas Request' by Longi Rio' to win the Working Australian Stock horse Mare class.

Brett Parkinson makes a spectacular manouver with 'Rosebrook Balou Rose' in the Working ASH Mare class. Exhibited by Marelle Park, E Mangan and Brett Parkinson.

The Royal Show this year insisted on all riders wearing hard hats. Safe of course but not quite the same look. Here the Working Gelding riders study their workout.

Maree Gibbons won the Novice Over 16.2hh class with her 'Expressions'.

Briony Payne rode Melanie Burns' 'Brookman Park Enchanting' to work beautifully and win the Novice 15.2-16jhh class. Enchanting was measured up from the 15-15.2hh class.

Kim Durante rode the Durante Family and P Pilz's 'Idol' to win the Novice 15-15.2hh class and go on to take out the Best Novice Hack award.

Warwick Lawrence rode Kim Sheridan's 'Eurella Rivan Oak' to win the Working Colt/Filly/Gelding class and claim the Reserve Champion Working ASH title.

'Phillip Porter from Victoria rode his well-performedTalisman Fiddler' by Star Black Minstrel, to win the Working Stallion class and be declared Champion Working ASH and take out the David Archibald Trophy.

Phillipa Kallus-Lawson and partner put their best foot forward during their workout in the class for Girl Riders 9-12 Years.

Rachel Woods from Bargo works out in the Girl Rider 9 -12 Years class.

Rachael Lynch from Cowra got the show off to a good start by winning the Girl Rider 6-9 Years class.

Ben Rodgers from Bowral won the Gentleman Rider 17 - 21 Years class and went on to add the Sydney Gentleman Rider Championship.

Jackie Long had a super show with "her boys'. Jackie is seen her with her Champion Australian Stock Horse Stallion/Colt, 'Heza Star' who turned the tables on his dad, 'Heza Bruce' who was declared Reserve Champion Stallion/Colt. Jackie and Ivery Park also won the 2 YearOld Colt class with 'Hez Me Dad' of course by Heza Bruce.

Karen Nicoll had a super Canberra Show with the lovely mare, 'Springvale Sabrina'. But it looks as if Sydney will be better. Karen led the mare by Cresswood Rivoli All Talk, to take out the Australian Stock Horse Mare/Filly Championship and the Supreme Led ASH award. The mare is exhibited by Transmere P/L and K Bryan. Seen her with judge Sue Lind from Victoria.

Sam Evans from Glen Innes won the Boy Rider 9 And Under 12 Years class and went on to be decared Champion Boy Rider Under 12 Years.

Richard Smallwood took out the Australian Stock Horse Gelding 3 Years class with his 'Roxby Park Dusty Nick' by Knights Nicholas.

Libby Affleck was second in the 3Year Old Australian Stock Horse Gelding class with her 'Coolidowns Maximillian'.

Jodi-Maree Maytom from Stroud in NSW was declared Reserve Champion Girl Rider Under 12 Years.
