Tatura Indoor Showjumping Classic 2017

Damien Churchill had a great weekend winning four classes with his, 'Franklins Peace', including the 1.25cm the last class on Sunday afternoon.

Scottie Barclay from Murchison was the first out in the feature class of the weekend, The Pryde's Victorian Country Championships. He is pictured aboard 'Killara Park Sentaro' that jumped a double clear for fifth place.

Brook Dobbin is pictured aboard the former Robert Goodwin ride, 'Co Pilot'. The former stallion jumped two impressive clear rounds to take second place in the Pryde's Victoria Country Championship.

James Harvey from Seville had a busy and successful weekend. He is pictured aboard his, 'Tyrone VDL' that jumped a double clear for fourth place in the Pryde's Victorian Country Championship.

Charlee Dobbin riding, 'Bindi' was one of the impressive young combinations in action at the Pryde's Tatura Indoor Show Jumping Classic conducted by the Goulburn Valley Show Jumping Club over the weekend. Although an indoor show, there were two outdoor rings in action, one for classes from 85cm to 1.05cm and another dedicated to freshmans rounds.

Russell Johnstone from Whittlesea has formed a successful partnership with Gregor McCann's talented, 'Daprice' that jumped a double clear for third place in the Pryde's Victorian Country Championship on Saturday night.

In front of a packed Saturday night crowd, Adam Prime demonstrated that he is certainly on the come back trail with his home bred and well performed, 'Saddle Up Darn Good' looking to be back in form after an injury lay off. They jumped a good clear first round and were just out of the money in the Pryde's Victorian Country Championship.

Sienna Holdsworth-Rose demonstrated great potential riding her wonderful 'Calypso' to win the Junior 85cm class.

Another promising young rider, Joel Pearce rode his well performed, 'I Reckon' to take second place in the Shepparton Laundromat Young Rider Championship.

Steven Hill spent some time last year competing in Europe with his super talented Conquistador mare, 'Yalambi's Bellini Star'. On Saturday night Steven took advantage of the mare's scope to cut out a stride and claim the Pryde's Victorian Country Show Jumping Championship.
