Second place in the Tekna Young Rider National Qualifier competition went to Jack Maunder riding CARISMA 11.

The New Zealand Team with coach John Cottle were defeated by the Qld team in the competition held this weekend but will be working on reclaiming the shield when the next competition is held.

The water jump for the World Cup was too much of a temtation for young Kai Murray as his Dad, Anthony, a well known showjumper was busily helping with the set up of the jumps.

The crowd enjoying the show jumping action were able to browse through the trade stalls which were extremely popular for those special purchases.

Andrew Inglis riding AMIRA pictured riding over the water jump in the World Cup Qualifier, had an exciting ride giving the crowd a few breath taking moments.

Jamie Grant and COOL K gave the crowd a thrill as they negotiated the water jump in the World Cup Qualifier with Jamie coming forward toward the horse's ears upon landing. Jamie regained his position in the saddle to finish the course but never made it into the final round.

Clem Smith and DARK AGES took out 3rd place in the FEI World Cup Qualifier.
