Victorian Young Rider Show Jumping Championships

Caroline Jones rode her careful Austral Park Fortune in the Southern Stars 1.05m class.

NSW rider, Sarah Louise McMillian was pleased to return to competition after a year concentrating on her finial year of high school. Sarah jumped a clear round riding Lanarkshire Lad in the McCrae Haulage 1.15m class.

Kristy Howorth rode Cabarita I Spy in the McCrae Haulage 1.15m class.

Nicole Crowhurst and Kazabella Rose finished the first round of the Southern Stars 1.05m class on four faults.

Fraser McCallum and the well turned out Local Favorite jumped in the Southern Stars 1.05m class.

Sam McCrae rode Mr Pee Jay in the Southern Stars 1.05m class that kicked off proceedings at the three day, Horseland Junior and Young Rider State Championships.

Emma McCrae and Spurific jumped in the Southern Stars 1.10m class. The committee decided to hold the event on the Werribee Polocrosse field and after all the summer rain the footing was perfect.

Caitlin Forrest rode Ghost Rider in the Southern Stars 1.10m class. With many of the riders just finishing their school year, there was a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at this popular show.

Sam Robertson and Silver Mist jumped clear then had four faults in the jump off to finish in fourth place in the Southern Stars 1.10m class.

Australian team member in the Inter Country Challenge, Johathon Smith had his first ride in the ring on Phoenix NZPH and produced a good clear round in the McCrae Haulage 1.15m class.
