Daniel Weidenbach from Kilmore caught our eye because of his lovely position on his horse. A boy is also a rarity in the show ring, but Daniel certainly impressed with his riding. He is pictured aboard his former racehorse, 'Scarred For life' that sustained a very serious injury indeed as a yearling.They earned a number of placings throughout the day.

Olivia Joel and her gleaming , 'Moscato' won the Open Hack 15.2-16hh in Ring 7.

Faye Hinchliffe from the Yarra Valley rode her Warmblood, 'San Brella' by Sandreo out of Gabriella to win the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh in Ring 8.

Chanel Hunter rode her, 'Burlesque' a Thoroughbred by Intergze and as Crewe, bred at Widden Stud, to win the Open 15-15.2hh class in Ring 7.

Well know and long time showing competitor, (yes she did start very young) Penny Greenhill rode her beautiful, 'Kolbeach Party' to win the Open Hack 15-15.2hh class and take out the Reserve Hack Championship in Ring 7.

Michelle Bryant rode her, 'Karlana You're Welcome' to take out the Show Hunter Galloway Championship under judge Melinda Ralph.

Sarah Dempsey's lovely mare, 'Sarven Park Tell All' took a little time to settle in, but when she did, she demonstrated great potential and a super temperament to win her Open 16-16.2hh class and take out the Reserve Champion Hack title in Ring 7.

Sally Turner rode her , 'Queen Bee' to win the class for Open Pony 12.2-13hh in Ring 8.

Well known showing rider, Rebecca Gerber rode Jamie Cayzer's, 'Kallaroo Heart To Heart' to win the class for Open Pony 13-13.2hh in Ring 8.

Shay Sidon rode her 'Roundhill Rising Victory' to win the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh and take out the Reserve Large Pony Championship in Ring 7.

Riley Shannon-Winzer, one of the few boys in action in the showing rings at Whittlesea today rode his charming, 'Westbury Gareth' to win the class of Open Show Hunter Pony 11.2-12hh and claim the Ring 8 Reserve Small Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Edwina Sutherland rode the delightful, 'Rivington Rockstar' to win the Ring 8 class for Open Show Hunter Pony 12-12.2hh.

The charming combination of Felicity Sutherland and 'Rivington Victoria' took second place in the Ring 8 class for Show Hunter Pony Under 11.2hh.

Kayla Atkinson rode her super moving, 'Cariad Park Blueprint' to win the Ring 8 class for Show Hunter Galloway 14-14.2hh and go on to take out the Show Hunter Galloway Championship in that ring.

Lauren Verbyla riding at her first ever showing show, rode, 'Shazzalee Park Bravado' to take out the Show Hunter Galloway Championship in Ring 7.

Brooke Haber rode her, 'Owendale Rumours' to win the class for Show Hunter Galloway 14.2-15hh in Ring 7 and they went on to claim the Reserve Champion Show Hunter Galloway award in that ring.

The very well performed 13 year old Briony Lee riding her, 'Silkwood Sublime' took out the class for Smartest On Parade for Riders 12 And Under 18 Years.

Brittany Elliott from Wallan was pleased with her three year old Arabian Riding Pony, 'Whizz Fizz' that she broke in herself. They performed well and were placed during the day.

Bryley Nikolic rode her five year old, 'Taz' to take third place in the class for Smartest On Parade For Riders Under 12 Years.

Christy O' Sullivan rode her well performed 15.2-16hh hack, 'Kookaburra' to take out the Supreme Hack award.

Jane Veall rode her beautiful Rotspon gelding, 'Remi Rockefeller' to win the Ring 7 class for Show Hunter Over 16hh and take out the Show Hunter Championship.

Brigitte Theuma from Doreen rode her, 'Gladiator's Ghost' to take out the award for Best Local Rider 14 and Under 18 Years.

First up today, Kristen White rode Kerry Mack's impressive five year old Rotspon gelding (out of White Girl), 'Mayfield Zaphir' to take out the Show Hunter Championship.

Ebonie Lee claimed the Ring 8 Small Show Hunter Pony Championship with her super, 'Lykanarro Ladysmith'. Ebonie also rode Newington Rumours to take out the Ring 7 Large Pony Show Hunter Championship.

Abby Heffer rode her eye catching rose grey Thoroughbred, 'Pink I Am' by Moscow Ballet to claim one of the three Show Hunter Hack Championships on offer as well as winning the Racing Victoria Off The Track class.

Sarah McCormick has had great success in the show ring and today added the Supreme Show Hunter award with her super, home bred, 'Leanda Hanky Panky' by Kirreway For All Occasions.

Brooke Mitchener rode Maria Furina's, 'Tailor Maid' to win her 16-16.2hh Open Hack class at her second attempt on a beautiful, sunny Spring day at Whittlesea Show.

Tamara Saligari rode her 'Chance Encounter' to win her 15-15.2hh class and claim one of the three Champion Hack titles on offer at Whittlesea Show.

"Sisters were doing it for themselves" in Ring 7. Sister Tamara claimed the Championship and Nicole Saligari took out the Reserve Hack Championship in Ring 7 with her, 'Theme'.
