The Event the organisors were most worried about was the Novice Freestyle, but their worries were unfounded. All the Young Riders put in great performance in the Novice Freestyles, many doing there first ever freestyle. Seen here Meredith Taylor riding Glenormiston Ace McCool.

Sancha Butler from NSW rode "Gaucho II" in the Inter 1 Freestyle, finishing on a score of 63.500% putting her in seond place in the class
Benjamin Terry rode "Torlea Evaluation" in the Inter 1 Freestyle, Benjamin finishing on a score of 55.083%
Claire Taylor form South Australia rode "Duell Joker" in the FEI Inter 1 Freestyle, finishing on a score of 60.917%
Emmalee Weston rode "Ridermark Amore" in the FEI Inter 1 Freestyle, finsihing in 3rd place with a score of 62.250%
Alexis Hellyer put in a blazing performance in the FEI Inter 1 Freestyle onboard "Maxx Jasper", propelling her to first place with a score of 70.000%. This is the last year year for most of these girls in the Young Rider squad. All I can say is Look Out to the older Grand Prix riders, as these girls are coming up through the ranks at a rapid pace and a high standard at a very young age.
Megan Bryant put in a lovely performance in the Advanced Freestyle onboard the lovely "Donnabella", finishing in second place with a score of 67.750%. Megan will be packing up the float and heading stright of to Albury Horse Trials on the way home to NSW
Phoebe Jones rode "Skansen Moet" in the Advanced Freestyle, and finished with a score of 65.125%
Alexis Hellyer seemed almost unbeatable this week. She put in a several blistering performances throughout the week, the highlights today in the Advanced Freestyle and the Inter 1 Freeestyle. seen here riding the lovely Waca W in the Advanced Freestyle where she scored a whopping 71.625%
The Advanced Freestyle Girls, Alexis Hellyer, Megan Bryant, and Phoebe Jones, all put in a spectacular display of dressage today
Jan Smith, always a tireless worker behind the scenes, and a lady that has done so much for the Young Riders and Dressage in Victoria. Jan now heads up the National EA Young Rider development squad, and is certainly a wonderful advocate for the sport
