10yr old Cleveland Bay mare
Approx 16.2/3hh but very chunky!

Almitra has been with her current owner for the past 3 years and in that time she has done loads of forrest and trail riding, arena work, some local pony club days and xc training days.

She has a lovely walk and trot with a ground covering canter, she would absolutely shine in the dressage arena ✨
She does also love trail riding and low level jumping.
She is absolutely amazing on the ground, fine going into the stable block by herself, doesn’t suffer with separation anxiety however as every horse does, enjoys company. Great for farrier, catch, wash, float, lunge etc. She is BAREFOOT and has had no soundness issues. She has been paddocked with both mares and geldings and is the boss in the paddock.

Almitra can be ‘looky’ however not at all dangerous but due to this, she is not for beginners.

Reason for sale is due to owner wanting to participate in hunting and Almitra isn’t suited to this due to being anxious in large groups of horses running up her bum!

She came to me last October (some videos/photos from then) for 3 weeks and progressed very well strength wise however since then she has been in light work and as said above, has been doing lots of trail riding. She still has strength and fitness to build but with consistency, this won’t take long. Coming back into work, she can have a pigroot however if you give her a couple days lunging beforehand, she is absolutely fine.
