Looking for your next reliable trail partner or all-around equine companion? Meet Harley, a rising 12-year-old Clydesdale x Thoroughbred mare who is the perfect combination of sweet temperament and reliability. Harley is looking for an experienced rider who enjoys trail riding, pack saddling, the occasional jump, with plenty of summer fun to be had! She requires someone with experience to continue on with her education, and work to form a close relationship with her. Once you have gained her trust and have a strong relationship, she is the most willing and reliable horse.

Temperament: Sweet, calm, and respectful

Training: Extensive training with Katrina Park (Cadence Horse Training) and Dave Russell and has attended clinics with Megan Harrison.

Experience:
Great on trails (especially with another horse)
Pack saddling in the high country
Low-level showjumping - Grade 4-5. max 75cm and has struggled to go further.
Excellent ground manners and handling
Has been in the pony club environment, but struggled with doing both a jumping and cross country lesson in one day.

Health: Well-maintained, great for the farrier, vet, dentist, etc. Is a very easy keeper/good doer.

Loading/Traveling: Harley is self-loading, travels rock solid, but due to her size, she can only be floated in an angle float or solo in a straight-load float.

Ideal Rider: Harley would suit an intermediate or experienced person who has some experience with mares. We have found that Harley is best when she is being fed the CEN Frisky Mare supplement, This is to help balance her hormones and behaviour. She is not suited for beginners, or riders looking for a competition and Pony club mount.

Harley is a dream when it comes to ground manners. She’s fantastic around kids, dogs, cats, motorbikes, tractors, and traffic. Her calm demeanor and respect for personal space make her easy to handle on the ground and while traveling. Harley loves company and is happiest when out on the trails with another horse. She LOVES to have a bath and go swimming, and is great to catch, stands calm for the farrier (is currently bare foot and has great feet!) and is great for the vets etc.
With her solid training and steady disposition, she has the potential to be a reliable companion for someone looking for a versatile and fun horse.
