Sunny Side Up - “Danny”

Gelding, 10 yo paint 15.3 hh, Sire B&W Double Shot, imported  from NZ (not registered).

Danny has done a bit of everything. Dressage, jumping, XC, beach rides, trail rides.

He is brave, has jumped courses up to 1 m with previous owner.

Trained Novice/Elementary dressage is genuinely chilled, good on the ground. 3 good, comfortable paces. Good to ride after a few days off.

Does not rear or spook easily. Chilled when he is out and about. Kids have used him for a canvass to draw (pet safe paint) and he is very chilled around dogs, horses, at feed times, machinery, cars and people.

However, he does pack a pretty decent buck on occasion. He has been thoroughly vet checked. Has had bodywork and acupuncture (both indicated muscle soreness). We can’t pinpoint why he occasionally puts in a solid buck but it is more than our 11 yr old daughter can sit to (to work with him through this). For this reason he is only offered for experienced older teen riders. Not a first horse, experienced homes only.

Very easy to handle, float, lunge, shoe etc., has been handled by my 11 year old.

Taking a loss at $15000 but he is too good a horse and needs to find a more suitable home and someone who can invest time in him to get him back into top condition and to his full potential.
