With an angelic face, huge eyes, and that golden palomino coat, Halo is every inch the ‘dream pony’, and very much admired by all who meet her. She is a stunning type, with a beautiful turn of front, great length of rein, scope that belies her size, and flashy movement. Standing approximately 12hh (she hasn’t yet been officially measured), she is an exciting Lead Rein/First Ridden prospect for a discerning home.

Australian Champion in her own right (as a led pony), Halo’s siblings and half siblings are all decorated show and saddle ponies at top level, with countless championships, numerous Royal wins, and multiple Pony of the Year titles to their credit. Halo is very typical of her extraordinary family, and is poised to enjoy a similarly successful career in the right hands. Her impeccable breeding also makes her a valuable future addition to anyone’s broodmare band.

Professionally broken in and educated, she is not yet a beginner’s or first off-lead mount, but would be ideally suited to an experienced family looking for a highly competitive prospect. She has no vices or bad habits, but is forward moving and responsive to the aids, with active, attractive paces.

She is currently in full work and prep at a professional show stable, is in top show condition, and has just attended her first ridden show for multiple placings and a broadsash, so is ready and waiting for her new family to go on with and enjoy. We are advertising her now, before she returns home, so that her new owner has the option of keeping her in training if that is their preference. If her next owner would like to compete at the upcoming SHCV Horse of the Year event, we would also be happy to cover her entry fees as part of her sale.

Halo is extremely well handled, and easy to do anything with. She’s good to catch, lead, tie, trim, worm, wash, clip, and float (alone or with company), accustomed to the paddock, yard, and stable, and isn’t separation anxious. She is up to date with worming, trimming, teeth, and tetanus/strangles vaccinations.

This is a difficult sale of a special favourite, and we are seeking an exceptional home to enjoy what this spectacular little mare has to offer.
