I’m heartbroken to be writing this, but I’ve made the tough decision to sell my dream horse. This sweet, kind, and patient mare has been my partner for the past couple years, and I want to make sure she finds a home that appreciates just how special she is. I’m not just selling a horse – I’m looking for the right person who will love and care for her the way she deserves.
A little about her:
* Age: 16-17 years
* Height: 17hh
* Breed: Purebred Clydesdale
* Temperament: Calm, patient, and so gentle. She’s perfect for beginners, lady’s mount, trail horse, etc but honestly, anyone who meets her can see that she’s just one of those horses that makes everything feel easy.
She’s honestly the best companion you could ask for. She gets along with everyone – kids, other animals, even our house cow. Not once has she spooked at anything. She’s confident, grounded, and makes everything feel simple. When she’s in the paddock, you can just call her, and she’ll come right to you. She’s easy to tie, shoe, float, and bathe. She’s like a big, gentle puppy in a horse’s body.
What makes her amazing:
* Even though she’s big, don’t let her size fool you – she’s a gentle giant. Beginners have ridden her with no issues. She’s the ultimate confidence booster, both under saddle and on the ground.
* You can ride her bareback and brideless without a care in the world – she’s just that chill.
* She’s going to a trainer towards the end of next week for a week or two to get in shape and to help me with the sale as this is really difficult for me.
* She’s never been broken to harness; she’s always been ridden under saddle, which makes her incredibly laid back and easygoing.
I’m only selling her because I want to focus more on Western riding, but I can’t afford to keep two horses right now. It’s been a tough decision, but I know it’s the right one for me to make.
I’ll be including some of her tack with the sale, so she’ll be all set for her new owner. The last thing I want is for her to go somewhere she’s not appreciated, so I’m only looking for the absolute best home for her. She’s got so much potential, and if I could keep her, I would in a heartbeat.
