Australian Combinations Announced for 2022 FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horses

Equestrian Australia is pleased to announce the combinations selected for the** 2023 Longines FEI WBFSH Dressage World Breeding Championships for Young Horse**s to be held 03 – 06 August in Ermelo, Netherlands.

The combinations are:

5-Year-Old

Simone Pearce riding No Limit (WESTF), owned by Familie Ritzinger, and groomed by Emily Reudavey.

6-Year-Old

Maree Tomkinson riding Imagine II (OLDBG), owned by the rider and Susan Gorst, and groomed by Nina Ditz.

7-Year-Old

Alicia Ryan riding Merricks Sonique (HHSA), owned by Susan Ryan, and groomed by Lyndal Kramer.

The aim of advancing Australian Dressage is multi-factorial and includes supporting the intent of the FEI to encourage breeding programs in a wider range of nations and encouraging the success of Dressage horses bred in Australia. To this end, Equestrian Australia acknowledges the breed societies: Australian Continental Equestrian Group inc (ACE), Australian Warmblood Horse Association and Hanoverian Horse Society of Australia.

The qualified horses from the EA National Selection Event at Dressage and Jumping with the Stars chose not to travel in 2023.
