Equestrian Victoria and the Organising Committee of the Victorian Youth Dressage Championships are very pleased to announce that Luxehorse will be the Naming Rights Sponsor for the 2025 event.

Luxehorse, in an Australian first, has secured the exclusive partnership as the sole Australian distributor of the newly-launched BOSS Equestrian range. Bringing the elegance, style and sophistication, synonymous with the BOSS brand to the Australian equestrian scene. The premium collection was exclusively unveiled last month at Equitana Melbourne, the largest equestrian event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Mary-Anne McPherson, Director of Luxehorse, is excited about the sponsorship, “the Victorian Youth Dressage Championships is a time-honoured event that consistently redefines the standard of youth equestrian competition both in Victoria, and Australia-wide. We are excited to partner with them to support and encourage the next generation of riders”.

Representing the Organising Committee, Kate Dertell commented, “we are very grateful to Luxehorse for their support and their belief that young riders are the future of our sport”.

Traditionally run over four days, the event returns to the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre for the 9th—12th January 2025 and will feature a wide range of official classes from the highest at Grand Prix level to Preliminary level. The event pioneered the running of the FEI classes for Children, Pony, Junior, Young Riders and the U25 Grand Prix at national level, which gives young riders the opportunity to become familiar with the tests and the levels before progressing to the same classes at International (CDI) level. As well there will be classes for Interschool riders as well as participation riders at grass roots entry level. The event will be supported by a vibrant trade village, education and social events.

Entries close 20 December and all details available on the event website, www.vydc.org.au.
