2010 National Cutting Horse Futurity

Dean Holden from Nundle NSW rode John and Jaquline Farley's, Undercover Girl by Peptos Stylish Oak (Imp) to take sixth place in the Priefert Classic Challenge for 5 and 6 year old horses, with a score of 144. Fifty eight horses contested the go-rounds with seventeen going into the final.

Heath Sinclair from Dalby Qld. riding G and L Whyte's stallion, Duel Windstorm by Duel Ray (imp) scored 141 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final.

Maree King from Cobram Victoria, the olny female and also only non-pro in the Priefert Classic Challenge final, rode her Junior High by High Brows Doctor (imp) to score 141for equal 12th place.

Todd Graham from Kingsthorpe Qld had the capacity crowd on the edge of their seats while he put on a great display riding the One Stylish Pepto Syndicate's, One Stylish Pepto by Peptos Stylish Oak (imp). However, with only seconds to go Todd lost his cow for a score of 135 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final.

Heath Sinclair from Bell Qld, rode Greg Joliffe's, Hoorey Little Dreamer by Duel Rey (imp) to score 147 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final to take third place.

John Mitchell who is now based in the USA and has life time earnings (lte) of an impressive $2,330,000, rode Tony Sofra's, El Tempo Blue Duck by Blue Duck Okie (Imp USA) to score 142.5 for ninth place in the Priefert Classic Challenge final.

Corey Holden from Victoria has over forty horses at these championships and he had four in the Priefert Classic Challenge final. Here Corey is riding R and M Harland's, Erin Short Rumor by Winderadeen Get Shorty to tenth place with a score of 142.

Aaron Wheatley who is also based in the USA rode Tristar QH Stud's, Erin Flashy Rey by Duel Rey (Imp) to take second place with a score of 148 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final.

Corey Holden riding Michael Smith's, Amaroo Sheoak by Bobby Bo Lena (IIU) scored 143.5 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final, for seventh place.

Todd Graham has life time earnings of $1,212,000 and he was riding Spins Miss Kitty that was purchased by the Shakespeare Family Trust in 2008 for a record NCHA Select Cutting Horse sale price of $85,000. Understandably they were at short odds to take out the Priefert Classic Challenge final. However, this can be a cruel sport, as with only 1 second left Todd lost his cow.

Phil Dawson from Inverell NSW riding Brian and Debbie Elliott's, Winderadeen A Lil Shortnin by Smart Little Scotty (imp.) posted the highest go-rounds aggregate in the Priefert Classic Challenge of 291.5. In the final they scored 144.5 for equal fourth place.

Legendary horseman Frank Green from Moree NSW rode Geoff Nicol's Stripperella by the equine legend Playboy Roy (imp) to score 135 in the Priefert Classic Challenge final.

Rob Hodgman from Pinkett NSW rode the Hogman and McGregor nomination of EBS Mia Cdee by Bank Fulo Cdees (imp) to score 143.5 for equal seventh in the Priefert Classic Challenge final. Today was mainly taken up with the NCHA Select sale which did not set any records but a number of horses sold for over $30,000. Tonight's Priefert Classic Challenge final was followed by the Coopers Animal Health Rodeo.

Jason Leitch from Springsure Qld rode James Parker's, Winderadeen Blacklabelcat by Intrcatolena (imp) to score 148.5 to win the Priefert Classic Challenge final. Winderadeen Scotlynx also by Intrcatolena topped the sale today.
