The dust turned to mud with heavy rain after a few hot days.
The deserted main arena, classes did start early but then were suspended and finally cancelled at 12pm.
Being able to park and camp near the main arena has been a plus for exhibitors of Canberra show, however it was not so good this morning.
Classes were on, then off, then on and then finally off. Competitors wait to hear the outcome of the meeting to decide if the show would go on.
Amy and Annette Hants from Yass, head back to the car after the classes were cancelled. Amy was one of the many Pony Club riders who attended the show today for the Pony Club events. Many Pony Club riders were very disappointed their classes were cancelled despite the wet conditions.
At least some young riders could enjoy playing in the water.
