Miniature Pony foal, 'Bessie Creek Griffin' was about the cutest thing at Werribee today. The delightful foal was being looked after by Janet Sharkey whilst his mother, 'Bessie Creek Cachou' was winning the Mare class. Both were exhibited by P Quigley.

Michael Christie rode Yasmin Kuhn's lovely 2006 Victorian EFA Galloway of the Year, 'Mirinda Eyeliner' by Ninfield Minks Supreme, to take out the Alltech Biotechnology Newcomer Galloway Championship.

Lauren Crocker from Whittlesea was delighted to take out the Buckskin Mount/Rider and Equimment class with her 'Cameo Park Odette'.

Lorraine McKenzie and Sue Dearling's American bred,'Glenmar Park Teddy's Hot Gossip' was declared Barastoc Supreme Miniature Horse of the Year.

Susie and Amy Stewart's 'Mandelay Pure Sik', by Strinesdale Matador and ridden by Amy was declared Runner Up Newcomer Large Pony of the Year.

Jane Burt's lovely and good working, 'Castleton Velvet Rose' by Urubula Regal Promise and ridden by Briony Payne, was declared Champion Newcomer Large Pony of the Year.

Tamara Lee rode Rebecca Ross' 'Imperial McLennan' by Boston Bitter Mint to make Top Ten Tack Box Newcomer Small Pony.

Chelsea Hennig rode her own 'Beckworth Rising Sunbonnet' by Rendene Rising Sun to take out the Runner Up Tack Box Newcomer Small Pony of the Year award.

Kady Moore rode Helen and Mary-Jane Burns' 'Uhavta Royal Antique'by Penley Gold Cup out of Malibu Park Royal Creation to claim the Tack Box Newcomer Small Pony of the Year title.

Zara Gudnason from Tasmania handed over 'Wedgewood Memento' in the best possible condition. The charming Buckskin was declared Supreme Ridden Buckskin of the Year and will henceforth be ridden by her new owner, Jenna Errey (pictured).

Georgia Greenwell rode her sister Olivia's 'Mullawa Park Legendary' to take third place in the Junior Saddle Pony Small Pony class.

Rose McEvoy dominated the Junior Saddle Pony classes. She won the 12.2 - 14hh class with her (pictured) 'Dickens of Wyuna' and took out the Small Pony class with 'Newington Small Talk'. Rose confessed to being "a little embarassed" by her good fortune.

John Thompson from Mt Gambier with his beautiful Top Ten Racing Victoria Newcomer Hack, 'MP Galveston' by Zabeel.

'Zareel' not surprisingly by Zabeel, exhibited by Alex Berwick, Carole Lindeman and Liz Porter and ridden by Alex, was declared Racing Victoria Runner Up Newcomer Hack of the Year.

Melody Linehan from Little River took out the Racing Victoria Newcomer Hack Championship with her beautiful 'Bentley Park Promises', who was one of three horses by famous sire, Zabeel, in the Newcomer Top Ten.

Thomas Madigan came all the way from Mackay in Queensland to ride Sophie Scott's 'Morningside Daybreak'. The combination clicked, as Daybreak was declared Malcolm Byrne Show Hunter Large Pony (rider 18 years and under) of the Year.

The Pengelly's well performed Shetland, 'Daniel Park Jube's Junior' took out the Decron Hoof Care Kit International Challenge Champion Shetland award. Ridden by Emma Colpey, Junior is seen here with judge, Nigel Oliver, nephew of the great Robert Oliver and Lynette Ward representing Decron

Sarah Dempsey rode 'Tara Park Arizona' to take out the Runner Up International Challenge Shetland award. They also won the Horse Deals Magazine Jacket for the best music in the Shetland section. Arizona was exhibited by M & KN Teesdale and N & D Riemer.
