Jan Langley's 'Langtree Evening Star', by Fairly Temptation and ridden by Beau Cunning was declared Runner Up Barastoc Small Pony of the Year.

Cassandra Fasan-Jones' 'Imperial Flashtime', ridden by Kym Fasan is really on the move in this picture. They made Barastoc Small Pony of the Year Top Ten.

'Rothwell Fairy Fable' exhibited by new Victorian, Simon Deleeuw. Ridden by Courtney Herd the pony by Rising Sovereign of Beckworth and out of Rothwell Fairy Footsteps made Barastoc Top Ten Small Pony.

The multi state Small Pony of the Year, 'Silkwood Angel Wings' by Silkwood Babbling Brook out of Silkwood Seventh Heaven, claimed the Victorian Barastoc Small Pony Of the Year award. Angel Wings was ridden by Laura Heffer and exhibited by Denise McMahon and Sarah McCormick.

Sharon Mulgrew from the Westcoast ARC represented one of the more than one hundred HRCAV riders at Barastoc this year. Sharon rode her 'Time Slot' to take out the Barastoc Reserve Champion Ridden HRCAV Mount title.

Lily McEvoy rode Kara Woolcock and Narelle Munday's 'Bojinda little Kimbo' to take out the Barastoc Ridden Shetland of the Year award.

Stephanie Barrington rode Brooke Gargan-Young's 2005 Barastoc Shetland of the Year, 'Araylon Heritage' to make Top Ten this year.

Courtney Bird rode Cherrie Mills' 'Tangerine Charity' (one of two piebalds in the finals) to make the Barastoc Ridden Shetland of the Year Top Ten.

Fiona McIntyre was awarded the Barastoc Owner/Rider Small Pony of the Year Championship with her 'Roseagle Maestro'.

Ellen Grant claimed the Barastoc Owner/Rider Galloway of the year title with her 'Moidart Majestic Rose'.

Briony Payne rode Lily McEvoy's very successful 'Mirinda Touch of Mink' by Ninfields Minks Supreme, to claim the Barastoc Large Pony of the Year award.

Bridesmaid again for Jan Langley. The Langtree Stud has had enormous success in the show ring and this year captured the Runner Up Large Pony of the Year (also RU Small Pony) title with 'Langtree Centre Stage' ridden by Sueanne Vale.

Kirsty Daniels was delighted to take out the Barastoc Owner/Rider Hack of the Year with her 'Myscal Aloof'.

Samantha Kilgour was another delighted young rider at Barastoc this year. She was second in the Barastoc Owner/Rider Large Pony class with her 'Malibu Park Poetry' by Sarnau Victory (imp).

Laini Seddon claimed the Barastoc Owner/Rider Large Pony of the Year award with her 'Beauparc Parisienne'.

Emma Marie from Pakenham took out the Barastoc Runner Up Galloway of the Year award with her 'Willowcroft Garland' by Urubula Regal Promise.

Sophie Coleman was another successful young rider at Barastoc this year. She make Barastoc Galloway of the Year Top Ten with her 'Kylandee Royal Heights'.

Laura Elliott rode Robyn Barry and Robyn Elliott's lovely and successful' Mirinda Height of Fashion' by Keston Royal Occasion, to make Barastoc Galloway Top Ten.

Julie Luxton with her own and husband Tom's Barastoc Galloway Top Ten, 'Malibu Park Stella'. 'Stella' by Sarnau Victory (imp) was ridden in the work out by Michael Christie who had multiple rides in the final.

Lauren Vella rode 'Royalwood County Squire', by Syon Royal Portrait to take out the Barastoc Galloway of the Year title.

Rachel Wessel rode her eye-catchig 'Nasqueyo' to make Barastoc Hack Top Ten.

Shelly Penny had a grand Barastoc 2006 including making Hack of the Year Top Ten with her 'Willowcroft Tosca' by Urubula Regal Promise.

Jessica Barton from Warnambool took out the 2006 Barastoc Horse of the Year award with her impressive 'Highmont'.

Former Barastoc Horse of the Year and 2006 Top Ten, 'Lemrac's Dancing Poet' ridden by Gary Beaton and exhibited by Brian Scholes and Gary.

Marcie Lash came all the way from Darwin in the Northern Territory to take out the Barastoc Supreme Champion Welsh Show Hunter Pony/Cob of the Year award with her 'Cheraton Mikado'. Seen here with L-R judges, John Petty and Sue Ritchie.

Allan and Kerry Brown's 'Keral Izon', driven by Allan, took out the Barastoc Light Harness Exhibit of the Year award.

Well-known Harness exhibitor and Royal Melbourne Show steward, Ron King, won the Barastoc Heavy Harness Exhibit of the Year award with his 'Meadow Lane Jackson'.

Shelly Penny's 'SP Havana' seen here ridden by Jade Gilbert was declared Malcolm Byrne Show Hunter over 16hh of the Year.

A busy Penny Smith from the Western District, took out the International Challenge Show Hunter Pony Under 14hh Championship with her 'Cherrytree Vagabond'.

Michael Christie had to settle for Runner Up twice this weekend with Caroline Reid's 'SLM Flirting'. The beautiful gelding by Salieri was Reserve Champion International Challenge Hack and Runner Up Barastoc Horse of the Year.

However, there was no one more delighted than Jessica Barton herself at 'Highnont's' 2006 Barastoc Horse of the Year victory.
