Patricia Fromholtz drove her charming three-year-old, 'Treeline Tialeaha' to take second place in the Australian Miniature Pony Period Costume Harness class. It was a great effort, as the pony behaved very well at her first show, having only been broken in six months ago.
A Nicholls' 'Chelleason Goldern Emperor' (Willowvale Picasso/White Skye Blue) won the Arabian Derivative Gelding Three Years and Under class. Doyle Dertell was at the end of the lead.
Kate Jewell took out the Australian Miniature Pony "Best Challenge Pony" (ponies not to have previously won a Championship) award with her lovely and beautifully presented 'Pentland Moppett II'.

Scott and Mairi McGregor's imported Highland stallion, 'Fyfedene' ridden by Jahane Parrish, took out the Supreme Ridden Mountain and Moorland Exhibit award. Before coming to Australia the handsome stallion had been Supreme in Hand at the Royal Highland Show on three occasions, and had also qualified for Olympia on three occasions, where he won Supreme Highland Exhibit. 'Fyfedene' was also Reserve Champion in the Edinburgh Horse Rugs In Hand Challenge.
'Silkwood Angel Wings' (Silkwood Babbling Brook/Silkwood Seventh Heaven) had a wonderful show. Exhibited by Denise and Barry McMahon and Sarah and Michael McCormick, and ridden by Grace Hill, Angle Wings was declared International Challenge Small Pony and Barastoc Small Pony Of The Year.
Megan Hughes made the Barastoc Top Ten Small Pony with her 'Barrington Park Royal Fortune' by Kirreway Ambition.
'Tara Park Nightchaser' with help from three-year-old Holly Murray and Nicole Riemer took out the APSB (VB) Leading Rein Pony Class for Riders 3, 4 and 5 Years. All look to be enjoying the experience.
