2013 Adelaide Royal Show

Katrina Kearns made it and impressive Novice/Open double this morning when she rode her mother, Debbie Etheridge's lovely Royal Show debutante, 'Ace High of Sefton'.

Sheridan Hammet rode her mother, Bobby Hammet's well performed, 'Hamlot Park Royal Quest' to take third place in the strong class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Julie Crisp from Canberra rode her very well performed, 'Holly's Work Of Art' to take fourth place in the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

It was good to see Lauren Ellery back in the show ring. Lauren is pictured riding the Goldsmith, Ellery and Thompson nomination, 'Pemberly Dior' that took fifth place in the class for Open Pony 13.2-14hh.

Nicole Bruggemann is having a wonderful show as she has some talented horses in her stable. Notable amongst them is the imported Irish bred mare, 'Lux Luke Cavalier'. The eight year old by Cavalier Royale out of a Lux mare was imported last year and is sure to make her mark in domestic competition. Nicole won the Section 3 one round class this morning riding Margeaux Carle's,'Witzcellar' for its second victory in this section.

Clem Smith as always is enjoying a successful show. Clem from Gatton in Queensland is pictured aboard his and Sharlene Smith's, 'Vidori' during the Section 3 one round class this morning. A little later he went on to win the Section 2 one round class riding the Belcam Gambler/Dove gelding, 'Guru'.

Kimberley Charles from Woodchester in SA is pictured aboard her 'Shebang' during the Section 3 one round class this morning.

Russell Hearn from Benalla in Victoria is seriously back in the showjumping action. Russell is pictured with his and wife, Bernadette's home bred, 'Conmirro' by Conquistador that took fifth place in the strong Section 3 one round class this morning.

Sally Kearney rode her own and Michelene Johnson's Royal Show debutante, 'Wynara Midnight Serenade' to win the class for Pony Hack Mare 12.2-14hh.

Kylie Baverstock's, 'Sanlirra Xqusite' took fifth place in the class for Pony Hack Mare 12.2-14hh.

Saskia Crichton rode her, 'Willowcroft Royal Emerald' to sixth place in the class for Pony Hack Mare 12.2-14hh

Graham Ferris is pictured with son Dylan along for the outing to catch a few rabbits. And catch them they did, complete with the help of the ferrets on board and "Roxy Music' supplying the horse power..This 1920s outfit took fifth pace in the class for Period Turnout for Horses and Galloways.

A splendidly presented, Jackie Boyd took out the class for Period Turnout for Horses and Galloways with help from, 'Ashwood Quest For Fame'.

A splendidly attired, Christina Johnston drove Barrey Linden's, 'Glenwood Nutcracker' to fifth place in the class for Period Turnout for Ponies.

A suitably attired, Amanda Ragg drove the Ragg, Proctor and Collins Show Team's charming, 'Krystal Park Limited Edition' to win the class for Pony Period Turnout.

Vienna Smith rode Fiona McIntyre's, 'Silkwood As In Heaven' to win the class for Child's Pony Hack 12.2-13hh and go on to be awarded Reserve Champion Childs Pony.

Marjorie Walter is pictured "moving forward" with her, 'Fontain Navahar' winner of the class for Non Hckney Pony 11-12hh during the Non Hackney Pony Championship this morning.

Well known man about the showground, Andrew James is pictured at the reins of the James and Collins nomination, 'Kimba Krisp' that won the class for Non Hackney Pony N.E. 10.2hh. They are pictured during the Non Hackney Pony Championship.

Kerrie Barlow raced away with the Non Hackney Pony Championship driving the Barlow Family's outstanding Harness Pony, 'Riverlodge Vanity's Hero'.

David Boulton is pictured aboard his Daley K gelding, 'Special K' during the Section 2 class this morning. Yesterday they put in a seemingly effortless performance to win the Six Bar jumping competition.

Daizi Plumb continued her successful way today. Daizi rode Best Novice Pony, 'Calvin Park Tiny Dancer' to win the class for Child's Pony 13-14hh and go on to claim the Child's Pony Hack Championship.

Kelsea Bullivant drove the Bullivant and Shipard nomination, 'Tintagel Excalibar' to win the class for Pleasure Pony N.E.12hh.

Tristan Gebauer-Barbaro won the class for Boy Rider Boy 10 AU14 Years and today rode well to take out the Junior Rider Under 14 Years Reserve Championship.

Brynie Lee won the class for Girl Rider 12 AU 14 Years and today claimed the Junior Rider Under 14 Years Championship.

Alex Nairn was second in the class for Girl Rider 12 AU 14 Years and is pictured today during the Junior Rider Championship.

Sabrina Jaeschke rode her lovely , 'Rosedale Wembley' to win the class for Pony Hack Gelding 12.2-14hh.

Chanel Hunter presented Lyn Warburton's, 12.2-13hh winner, 'Rosedale Songster' beautifully and rode her well this afternoon to claim the 2013 Adelaide Royal Large Pony Championship.

Nirrelle Somerville rode her lovely 'Kolbeach Bells' to win the Open Pony 13-13.2hh class and this afternoon claimed the 2013 Adelaide Royal Large Pony Reserve Championship.

Alexia Fuller rode Artimus Fuller's delightful, 'Rivington Tosca' to take sixth place in the class for Leading Rein Pony.

Bianca Evans did the riding and mum, Jenny Evans was at the end of the leading rein and together with, 'Armanii Park Peter Pan' claimed the Leading Rein class.
