Kate Kyros did her best to get the 2018 Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships off to a great start for South Australia. Kate rode her, 'Kolbeach Holly's Diamond' to claim the Child's Large Show Hunter Pony Runner Up award.

Successful young show rider, Kate Kyros claimed the Child's Medium Show Hunter Pony Championship for South Australia riding the Victorian bred and well performed, 'Owendale Beesting'.

Jenna Hall claimed the Child's Medium Show Hunter Pony Runner Up award for Western Australia riding, 'Gem Park Debonare'.

Successful young NSW rider, Elizabeth Taylor rode the Duncan and Treneman Families' well performed and another Victorian bred Show Hunter Pony, 'Owendale Rembrandt' to take out the Child's Large Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Representing Queensland, Jack Jackson rode Carmen Jackson's charming, 'Elvonara Park Kandyman' to take third place in the Child's Large Show Hunter Pony Championship.

Elizabeth Taylor rode her brother, Hunter's, 'EBL One Night In Paris' to take out the Child's Large Show Hunter Galloway Championship for NSW.

Shilo Harvey representing NSW rode her 'New World Riverman' to take third place in the Child's Small Show Hunter Championship.

Queensland had a strong hold on the Child's Small Show Hunter Hack Championship, with Isabella Cross riding Maddysen Sears', 'Welt's Legacy' to take out the Runner Up award.

Riding for Queensland, Mikayla Vankampen made it back to back Child's Small Show Hunter Hack Championships riding Abbey Lovell's delightful 2017 National Champion Small Show Hunter Hack, 'Dicavalli Rory'.

Riding for Queensland, Chase Jackson was making quite an impression on day one of the Ego Sun Sense 2018 Australasian Show Horse and Rider Championships. He rode his, 'Mirinda Princess Perfect' to take out the Child's Small Pony Championship.

Ella Manning rode Catherine Gale's well performed, 'Newington Tinkerbell' to claim the Child's Small Pony Runner Up award for South Australia.

Representing Queensland, Paige Sinnamon rode her, 'Carlton Park Formality' to take third place in the Child's Small Hack Championship.

Caitlin Fricker rode her delightful, 'Manorvale After Five' to claim the Child's Small Hack Championship for South Australia.
