Megan Jones with her characteristic determined look, guides Glenn Wallace's  'Kirby Park Fedwell' by Allegro Con Brio, over the C4 Architects Stable. They made a perfect run across country to be in third place on 54.10 heading in to the CCI** showjumping. Megan is also in CCI**** third place with 'Kirby Park Allofasudden' that added just four time penalties to an otherwise great cross country trip and heads in to the showjumping with 53.10 penalties.

Sadly Victorian Edith Kane had a fall from 'ESB Irish Justice' later in the course, and as a consequence of the new 2008 rule that results in elimination for the first fall, they played no further part in the CCI** competition after fence 18.

Saran Ingham from Queensland rode her ex Victorian horse, 'Wenlock Lodore'  to jump clear around the CCI** cross country. However, they made their trip a little slowly for the addition of 16.4 time penalties. They head in to the showjumping phase tomorrow in 14th place with 78.30 penalties.

Lauren Balcomb and the ex Boyd Martin horse,'Kootamootoo' by Salute held on  to the lead in the CCI**, despite this rather awkward jump exiting the main arena. They added nothing to their dressage score, 45.60 to hang on to the lead by 0.30.

Popular Victorian rider, Wil Enzinger made a splash with Melanie Hilton's 'BWS Eagle'. Due to the refurbishment of the Rymill Park Lake the water played little part in the cross country test.  Will produced a perfect run to head in to the CCI** showjumping phase in second place, just by 0.30 penalties.

Third after the dressage, George Sheridan and 'Woznme' (pronounced "wasn't me") had rather an eventful CCI** cross country run for two refusals and the addition of 8.4 time penalties. They dropped down the leader board to 20th.

She produced a perfect trip to be in  fourth place with 53.50 penalties. Wendy did likewise with 'Koyuna Sun Shine' for fifth place with 54.60 penalties. With just 2.1 penalties separating the first five the showjumping phase tomorrow will be exciting.

Ali Foye and 'Bondir' made the much talked about Adelaide City Ducks ab look all too easy. The acute angle from duck to duck was made more so by the addition of the nest of eggs. By and large it posed no problem at all for the CCI**** competitors.

South Australian combination, Luke Jones  and 'Soul' had some catching up to do after the CCI**** dressage phase. They did their best by posting one of four penalty free trips across country. They are now in the money in ninth place with 76.50 penalties.

Assistant Eventing Showjumping Coach, Sam Lyle added ten time penalties riding 'Interwin'. It was enough to drop them from fifth to sixth in the CCI****competition with 63 penalties. We should expect no such time delay tomorrow.

Crystal Conning and her typey 'Marcus Aurelius' wasted no time to post a clear, clear run around the CIC** course. They moved from 15th to fifth for their efforts and head in to the showjumping with 67.20 penalties.
