Meredith Taylor rode Jayay Grand Justice for Mylor Valley Pony Club SA in the Junior Dressage. It has been a big competition for many of the horses with a lot of travelling and numerous events over the week. Jayay Grand Justice still looked bright and fresh this morning however, not all the horses have performed as well over the week.
Phoebe Tucker and Gravitron competiting for Capel Pony Club WA have performed well over the week in the Associate Dressage. The WA Associate Team were equal third with Victoria. The NSW Team won the competition with Queensland, second
Thirteen year old Ellie Smith rode Yaroom Gypsy for Fernpark Pony Club Tasmania, in the Junior Dressage.
Rachael Bell and Jerez riding for Allora Pony Club Qld, produced a nice test in the Junior Dressage Championship Elementary 3.1. The Queensland Team took equal third place with South Australia behind NSW first and Victoria, second.
Samara Johnson and Single Minded from Coolamon Pony Club NSW jumped a four and clear round for fourth place in the Junior Showjumping Grand Prix. NSW also won the Junior Showjumping Teams event, with Queensland second, Victoria Third, South Australia fourth and Tasmania fifth.
Annabel Fairweather and Octavious riding for Mountain Pony Club SA, had four faults in the first round of the Junior Showjumping Grand Prix,. However, a fast second round saw the combination finish in second place.
Shannon Turner rode Sym Fairmont for Stoney Range Pony Club NSW to post a four and clear round in the Junior Showjumping Grand Prix for third place.
Cecilia Cameron and her careful Shopadoc representing Deloraine Pony Club Tasmania was just out of the placings in the Junior Grand Prix.
Craig Matthews and Rupert's Little Brother representing Bega Pony Club NSW have been the outstanding combination in the Junior Showjumping division. Craig managed his horse well over the five days to place in each event without going crazy agaist the clock. Today it paid off, as Craig was the only rider to procuce a double clear to win the Junior Grand Prix. Craig was declared Champion Junior Jumping Rider.
Samantha Harrington riding Financial Difficulties represented Stratford Pony Club Victoria in the Associate Showjumping Grand Prix. This combination were one of six double clear round to participate in the exciting jump-off. Samantha and Financial Difficulties had four faults in the jump off to finish in sixth place.
Grant Judd and his wonderful little Thoroughbred, Redshot, representing West Wyalong Pony Club NSW have won all five Associate Showjumping events. This combination have now won the National Pony Club Showjumping Championship in 2005, 2007 and now 2009.
Kimberley Charles and Black Velvet from Kangarila Pony Club SA jumped a slow clear round in the Associate Grand Prix jump off for fourth place.
Sandra Harris and Mexican Silver representing Tiaro Pony Club Qld, jumped three good clear rounds to place third in the Associate Grand Prix. Queensland finished the Teams event in second place behind NSW and ahead of Victoria in third place and SA, fourth.
Lisa Harris rode her kind going Warmblood Denison Park Brodie for Tiaro Pony Club Qld, in the Associate Grand Prix.
Dana Seaton riding Warrobil Indiana for Mt Sugarloaf Pony Club NSW jumped three good clear rounds for second place in the Associate Grand Prix.
Rochelle Aikenhead and Golden Oscar representing Runcam Pony Club Qld, jumped two good clear rounds and then a fast round in the jump off but four faults dropped them to fifth place.
Anna Swan and Brady Bunch representing Esperance Pony Club WA, were not in the placings in the Junior Eventing however they did manage to post one of the handful of clear showjumping rounds. Western Australia did win the Junior Eventing Teams event with Victoria second, NSW third, Qld fourth, SA fifth and Tasmania sixth.
Zoe Bond riding At Risk for Lochard Pony Club Victoria added six showjumping penalties to finish just out of the placings in the Junior Eventing.
Makayla Wood and Just Corona representing Riverside Park Pony Club WA, added four showjumping penalities to finish the Junior Eventing Championship in fifth place.
Tara Rodgers and Skyway Lodge Cool Bananas representing Avondale Pony Club NSW added four showjumping penalties to finish the Junior Eventing Championship in third place.
Emily Gray and her wonderful little Welsh/Riding Pony cross, Trentlyn Joel, finished the Junior Eventing Championship on their winning dressage score. However, a count back with equal leader Andrew Heselting relegated them to second place. Emily represented Narrogin Pony Club WA.
Andrew Heselting and his warmblood mare, Sunbury Lodge Pandora by Grand Flaneur, jumped a good clear showjumping round to finish the Junior Eventing Championship on his dressage score to win the event.
Sarah Hibbard and Excalibur from Williamstown Pony Club SA did not have a good day across country but made a very nice picture in the Associate Eventing Showjumping phase.
Lizzy McRoberts rode Casper for Bungerdore Pony Club NSW in the Associate Eventing Championships.
Elizabeth Chamberlain and Gold Quill representing Warialda Pony Club NSW moved up a number of placings after a clear showjumping round in the Associate Eventing Championship.
Emma Howard and Cullendore Tigger representing Killoy Pony Club Qld moved into fourth place with a clear showjumping round in the Associate Eventing Championship. Queensland won tghe Team competition from WA, NSW and Victoria.
Meagan Learey and Biscay Park Sterling representing Mountain Pony Club SA was thrilled to jump a clear round in the showjumping phase to take third place in the Associate Eventing Championship.
Tamara Bondfield and Fine China riding for Warwick Pony Club Qld, added four penalties in the showjumping phase of the Associate Eventing Championships to finish just out of the placings.
Soigne Jackson and Gold representing West Toowoomba Pony Club Qld, added ten showjumping penalties to slip out of the placings in the Associate Eventing Championship.
Megan Bryant and her good Australian Stock Horse, Talinga Cavalier by Kirbys Major, jumped a clear showjumping round to win the Associate Eventing Championship. Megan represented Cowra Pony Club NSW.
