Australian Pony Club Championships 2009

Emily Daley rode DP Ace of Hearts for Kangarilla Pony Club SA in the Junior Eventing Championship. So far the weather gods have been looking after the pony club competitors with another sunny day.

Makayla Wood and Just Corona representing Riverside Park Pony Club WA, added 1.6 time penalties to their dressage score that had them in fifth place in the Junior Eventing. With scores very close the final placings will be determined in the showjumping tomorrow.

Andrew Heselting riding Sunbury Lodge Pandora for Yarrambat Pony Club Victoria, held onto his lead in the Junior Eventing with a clear cross country round.

Anna Swan and Brady Bunch look good for Esperance Pony Club WA in the Junior Eventing.

Grace Ellis riding IP Musendan for Derwent Pony Club Tasmania, held on to her sixth place after a clear cross country round in the Junior Eventing.

Brooke Howarth riding Zabellen for Langwarrin Pony Club Victoria, remain in third place in the Junior Eventing.

Fraser Bower and Mr Exuberant representing Eastern Hills Pony Club WA, look good in the Junior Eventing.

Tamara Bondfield rode Fine China for Warwick Pony Club Qld. in the Associate Eventing.

Haley Roberts rode Trial Run for Tintinara Pony Club SA, in the Associate Eventing.

Ceilidh Armer rode Calvin K Interluck for Wamboin Pony Club NSW in the Associate Eventing. The cross country rode well today with few problems in either section.

Soigne Jackson rode Gold for West Toowoomba Pony Club Qld, in the Associate Eventing.

Phoebe Tucker and Gravitron representing Capel Pony Club WA, hold onto fourth place in the Associate Eventing.

Meg Walker and Darcy II representing Huntingfield Pony Club Tasmania, took the popular longer option at the second water.

John Thomson and Captain Nemo from Oxenford Pony Club Qld, look pleased to finish their clear cross country round in the Associate Eventing. John heads into the showjumping in sixth place.

Katie Remond and True Blue Toozac representing Collerenebri Pony Club NSW added four time faults to their third place dressage score, in the Associate Eventing.

Meagan Learey and Biscay Park Sterling representing Mountain Pony Club SA hold the lead heading into the showjumping in the Associate Eventing.

Megan Bryant and Talinga Cavalier from Cowra Pony Club NSW hold onto second place in the Associate Eventing after a clear cross country round.

Simon Tainish and Mighty William representing Corio and Mooranbool Pony Club Victoria hold fifth place in the Associate Eventing after a clear cross country round.

Thirteen year old Lydia Dales represented Huntingfield Pony Club Tasmania during the Prince Phillip Games sword Race. All the riders in the Games ride borrowed horses and swap horses after each set of games.

James Thomas represented Dingley Pony Club Victoria. James is pictured during the Spillers Race, part of the Prince Phillip Games. The Victorian team finished in second place overall.

Bradley Ward from Mountain Pony Club SA was a member of the victorious Prince Phillip Games Team that represented Australia at the International Games Exchange, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Today Bradley represented South Australia in the fourth place Mounted Games Team.

Lauren Breakwell from Cockatoo Pony Club represented Victoria in the Prince Phillip Mounted Games Bottle Race.

Thomas Vandeleur from Carnavon Pony Club represented Western Australia in the Prince Phillip Mounted Games Mug Race.

Kate Smith from Oakey Pony Club represented Queensland in the Prince Phillip Mounted Games Stepping Stone Race.

Peter Green from Roma Pony Club represented Queensland in the Prince Phillip Mounted Games High and Low Race.

Gareth Farmer from Muswellbrook Pony Club was also a member of the Australian Team at the International Games early this month. Today he represented NSW in the winning Prince Phillip Mounted Games.
