This photo taken yesterday shows popular NSW rider, Todd Hinde making a beautiful jump riding the Oaks Sport Horses' beautiful imported mare, 'Oaks Pro Ratina'. At the very next fence, both horse and rider had a crashing fall, and it looked bad. After an overnight in hospital, all at the show were very pleased to see Todd back at Werribee today, albeit somewhat bruised and stiff.

Hilary Scott has had quite a traumatic show, with her fiance, Todd Hinde taken to hospital yesterday. However Hillary was back in the saddle today and rode the newly imported Dutch bred mare, 'Oaks Impala' by Tangelo VD Zuuthoeve to third place in the Paccar Trucks Mini Prix. Of the 39 to start in the class, only three jumped clear over the testing and careful track.

Sarah Isbister from WA was the fastest of the four faulters riding her, 'Little Britton' and took fourth place in the Paccar Trucks Mini Prix..

Well known show organiser, commentator and Premier Floats principle, Brett Hickey did not have the best of rounds in the Mini Prix. However, it is evident that his newly acquired, 'Conan Van de Grundeval' demonstrates great promise.

Brook Dobbin rode a sensational jump off round aboard Angela and Marcus Cooney's imported (from Canada) Hanoverian, 'Silvo'. They typey ten year old outpaced a quick ASB Caracas by almost three seconds to win the Paccar Trucks Mini Prix.

New Zealand Young Rider, Bridget Hansen is pictured during the Wyndham Harbour second Young Rider Qualifier and Team event today riding the home bred, 'Nicalette NZPH'.. Bridget had three rides in the class and took fourth place riding Shakespear NZPH.

South Australian Young Rider Team member , Lucy Bowden is pictured riding, 'Gilbert Street' in the second YR Qualifier.

Successful Queensland Young Rider Team member, Tegan Kidner is pictured aboard her well performed, 'Federer' during the second YR Qualifier today. Queensland took fourth place in the State Teams competition.

WA Team member, Maddison Stephen rode her talented, 'Barabadeen Sir Lancelot' to jump clear and four to take sixth place in the second YR Qualifier and help WA win the Interstate Teams competition.

Victorian Team member Jonathon Smith rode , 'Sanskrit Park Vision' to jump four and clear to help Victoria take third place in the Teams competition.

The eight strong Young Rider Qualifier jump off produced some super performances. Jack Maunder from NSW was co-opted on to the WA Team and jumped a double clear to help claim the Team title for the West. Jack rode his impressive imported mare,'Cyra ' to take third place in the second YR Qualifier.

Just back from three months riding in Europe and just turned 19, there is no stopping Tom McDermott. The NSW Team member jumped a characteristically smooth and very fast jump off riding,'Statford Delight' to win the second Young Rider Qualifier.

Bega apprentice farrier and successful jumping rider, Clint Beresford jumped one of just eight (of 55) first round clears in the Wyndham Harbour second Young Rider Qualifier riding his 'Emmaville Jitterbug'. They finished just out of the money with two down in the second round.
