Yes you have seen that horse before and that rider. Adam Wallen celebrated his 18th birthday by winning the Nandeye 13-18 Youth Challenge riding his father Geoff's 'Doongara Our Power'. Adam is being presented with the inaugural Dianne Newberry Memorial Shield, in honour of Dianne Newberry who passed away recently. Dianne was the ASH Youth Director and to remember her, all the Youth competitors wore black armbands at the show. Dianne's daughter, Ellen made the presentation. Class sponsor Malcolm Field of Nandeye ASH Stud was also on hand to present the trophy rug.
