Australian Stock Horse Society World Championship Show

Aimee Mannix rode the Mannix family's, Gooderah Aussie Gem by Gooderah Kates Aussie in the hack classes. Last night the five year old mare was declared Supreme Led Exhibit after winning the Champion Led Senior Mare earlier in the show.

Karen Nicoll and her well performed Springvale Blue Print has had a very good show with many awards and last night they capped of the show with being declared Supreme Champion Hack.

Courtney Robinson and Cedarvale Jillaroo worked well to place seventh in the tough Junior ASHLA class.

Ashley Whiting and Rivoli Oaks Romero were placed third in the Junior ASHLA class.

Eliza Jobling and Glen Lee Rivoli Lucifer won the award for Best Novice and took second place in the Junior ASHLA class.

Hannah Fotheringham has not stopped smiling since she and Bobadil Oaks Gemma were declared Supreme Working Exhibit last night, from a very tough field of senior riders. This morning Hannah continued winning, taking out the class for Junior ASHLA.

The serious pair of Sophie Maynes and Drumora Radiant placed equal fourth in the Working ASH class for riders 8 and under 11.

Tyler Berkley and Brigalow Rivers performed really well to place second in the Working class for riders 8 and under 11 years.

A serious rider of the future, Ryan Wallen rode Sevenangle Horatio to win the Working class for riders 8 and under 11 and go on to be declared Champion Working under 13 years.

Victoria Allen rode Lotsa Loot to place second in the Rider 8 and under 11 and equal fourth in the Working class for riders 8 and under 11.

Molly Evans rode Regal Bling to place second in the Working class for riders 11 and under 13 years. Earlier Molly won the Rider 11 and under 13 and was declared Champion Rider under 13 years.

Jade Fangmeier rode Silverthorn Wills to place second in her rider class 11 and under 13 and was also equal fourth in the Working class for riders 11 and under 13 years.

Georgia Cameron riding Adynsfield Minette took equal fourth in the Working class for riders 11 and under 13 years.

Laura Strelitz rode Tassas Taboo to fourth place in the Rider 11 and under 13 years.

Anastasia Martin riding The Echo Carina placed third in the Rider 11 and under 13 years.

Townsend Curtin rode Grenadier Domain to third place in the Working class for riders 11 and under 13 years.

Campbell Jones rode Falconhurst Formidable to win the Working class for riders 11 and under 13 years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Working under 13 years.

Ann Rumbel riding Belmur Charisma score 81 to take equal ninth place in the Ladies campdraft. Sixty nine ladies competed in this popular event.

Cherie Rapley rode Isa Fancy Face (pictured) to equal ninth place and Colourburst to fourth place in the Ladies Campdraft.

Vicki Evans rode Talawahl Serenade to be equal first after the first round of the Ladies Campdraft with a score of 88. However, they only managed to score 17 in the run-off, to take second place.

Former Garryowen winner, Jan Smith rode the fantastic Soda Justice to gain the top cut out score of 23 and after a ride off was declared the winner of the Ladies Campdraft with scores of 88 and 82.

The Stock Horse Society looks very healthy with a new generation of wonderful youthful riders coming through the ranks. Young Jack Lawrence guided the well performed Cedar Downs Minimax to score 76 in the cattle section of the Youth Challenge 13 and under 18 years.

James Vaughan and Empire Hill Kasey scored 69 in the cattle section of the Youth Challenge 13 and under 18 years.

Florence Macintyre rode Gavins Min to score 74 in the cattle section of the Youth Challenge under 13 years. Only five of the thirty competitors in this event posted an outside score but the cattle were not making things easy.

Stuart Robinson from Victoria and Wasmac Gimeadink did manage to get around the first peg in the cattle section of the Youth Challenge 13 and under 18 years, something many others tried to do but failed.

Katie De Jong rode Ophir Sonnett to score 83 in the cattle section of the Youth Challenge 13 and under 18 years. Sixty seven competitors entered this event over four sections, Hack, Working, Cattle and Time Trial.

Tom O'Brien and Everhope Bullwinkle had double trouble in their cattle section of the Youth Challenge 13 and under 18 years. Tom and Bullwinkle kept focused and completed the course to score 87.

Amelia Bentley rode Doongara Our Power in the Dressage Novice 2A for riders 13 and under 15 years.

Camilla Dawson rode Waymere Oaks Sheraz in the Dressage 2C competition for riders 15 and under 18 years.

Carlie Fangmeier rode Silverthorn Lucky Strike in the Dressage Novice 2C for riders 15 and under 18 years. The ASHS Society has not had a Nationals offering all classes since 2006. Members from around Australia have voted with their feet this year and really supported the huge event.
