Taylah Arnott is pictured aboard Emily Murray's successful, 'Raleigh Picture Perfect' during the finals of the Malcolm Byrne Saddlery How Hunter Pony 12-13hh Championship.

A versatile and talented Sally Shaw rode her, Show Hunter, Dressage horse and jumper, 'Broadway Duntroon' to win the Mithril Welsh Ponies class for Working Hunter Over 14hh.

Melanie Ford's, 'Gorserella Ms Al Fonz' looks to have missed her calling. The super talented jumper is pictured during the Mithril Welsh class for Working Hunter Over 14hh.

Katrina Metherall has had a successful couple of days with her own and her mother, Rosie's home bred , 'Burnewang Evermore' that took out the Malcolm Byrne Saddlery Show Hunter Pony 13-14hh Championship.

Jess Marnie claimed yet another Championship with the Argyl and Andrew and Charlie Hunt's, 'Argyl Royal Flush' that was declared 2014 Barastoc Small Pony of the Year.

Ava Halloran rode Maddy Ginn's lovely, 'Harrington Park Symphony' to claim the Barastoc Small Pony of the Year Runner Up award.

Chelsea Clark rode Nirrelle Somerville's super working, 'View Bank Barista' to take out the 2014 Barastoc Large Pony of the Year Runner Up award.

Nirrelle Somerville rode her well performed and good working, 'Kolbeach Bells' to make the Barastoc Large Pony of the Year final.

Chanele Hunter rode Lyn Warburton's very well performed, 'Rosedale Songster' to claim the 2014 Barastoc Large Pony of the Year title.

Breanna Forster Made the finals of the quality Galloway field and you can see why with her, 'Willowcroft Regal Delight' working beautifully. Earlier in the show they took out the Junior Saddle Galloway of the Year award.

Jason James rode Jane Shaw's lovely and very well performed, Galloway, 'Royalwood Concerto' to take out the Barastoc Galloway of the Year Runner Up award. The beautiful gelding has just been sold to Penelope Cobbold in NSW.

A very elegant Tamara Lee stepped aboard her sister, Brynie's, 'Silkwood Sublime' to make the quality Galloway final and they made the most of the opportunity with a super workout.

Ruth Hall from the Yarra Valley rode her lovely, home bred, 'Springtime Harrison' to make the Barastoc Galloway of the Year finals.

Briony Payne can produce them and she can ride them and today her efforts were rewarded by claiming the Barastoc Galloway of the Year title with the M & M Burns and D Banks nomination, 'Wesswoods Magic Caste'

Now resident in Victoria, Mark Kenzig as always is a force with which to be reckoned in the show ring. Mark is pictured with his Barastoc Hack finalist, 'Kolbeach Roulette'.

Courtney Remington has had great success in the show ring since she was a very little girl, but Barastoc 2014 will be up there as her most successful. She rode Jamie Carson's now legendary, 'Willowcroft Chance Encounter' to claim back to back Barastoc Horse of the Year titles. On their way to their second Open victory, they claimed the Barastoc Senior Hack Championship.

Laura Thomas rode her impressive six year old Thoroughbred gelding, 'Tattinger' by Clang to claim the Barastoc Hack of the Year Runner Up award.

Taylah Arnott rode her very well performed, 'Farleigh Leander' to make the Barastoc Hack of the Year finals.

Kerry Tempest-Clarke rode Kim Newman's Vas Ltd Champion Large Hack, 'Distanzia' to make the Barastoc Hack of the Year finals.

The 2014 Barastoc Shetland Final may not have been the best class at the Horse of the Year Show, but it was not bettered. Twenty-one magnificent ponies lined up for judging, which could not have been a easy task for UK judge, Gloria Oaks, who declared the class, "excellent" and was impressed with the ponies declaring that they had "more quality and were more forward going than the Shetland Ponies in the UK".

Rebecca Gerber rode Jane Gerber's , 'Kristamoor Lodge Keiran' to claim the hotly contested 2014 Barastoc Shetland of the Year title.

Vienna Smith rode the McMahon and McCormick Families' super home bred, 'Leanda Hanky Panky' by Kirreway For All Occasions to take out the Malcolm Byrne Saddlery Show Hunter Pony 12hh and Under, Rider 14 Years and Under Championship. It has been a big couple of days for Hanky Panky, with and extra bay in the truck necessary to carry his garlands.
