Hannah Tempany made the most of her ride on Demi Morrison and Barb Begley's great hack, 'Lemrac's Dancing Poet'. She rode the 2002 Barastoc Horse of the Year and National Champion Hack to take out the Joseph Lyddy Runner Up Rider of the Year 12-15 Years. "Poet", a true professional went on to carry Caitlin Smith to claim the 15-18 Years Rider of the Year title.

Sarah McMaster rode her well performed hack, 'Montecito Park Royal Flush' in the ride of for the Joseph Lyddy 12-15 Years Rider of the Year.

Holly Murray rode very well to take out the Joseph Lyddy 6 and & Year Old Rider of the Year.

Abby Heffer has become a beautiful rider and it was no surprise when she was called forward as Joseph Lyddy 12-15 Year Old Rider of the Year. Later in the day Abbey went on to take out the Gahan Trophy for Girls.

All the way from Queensland, Karen Shaw's 'Xemplify of Sefton' by Rathowen XL won the inaugural class for In Hand Stallion over 14.2hh. The classes for Horses of Riding Pony Breeding 14.2-15.2hh (in England known as Park Hacks) are a new initiative by the Riding Pony Society.

Emma Richardson's beautiful, 'Royalwood Song of Spring' (Royalwood Boy Soprano/Merry Maid of Astral) shown by Jeremy Roberts, was declared Champion Senior Led Show Pony and Stallion Floats Supreme Champion Led Show Pony.

Darren Telford is having a marvellous run with Michelle Labahn's 'Whitmere Lollipop'. The filly by Whitmere Prince of Pop out of LJS Passion Pop was declared Stallion Floats Champion Led Junior Show Pony.

Bettina Kopetzky was delighted to take out the Stallion Floats Ridden Show Hunter Reserve Championship with her 'Sanlirra Velvet Kiss' that was second to the Champion in the class for Show Hunter 13.2-14.2hh.

Sueanne Vale rode Jan Langley's, well performed, 'Langtree Opium' to win the class for Show Hunter 13.2-14.2hh and take out the Stallion Floats Ridden Show Hunter Championship. They are pictured with judge, Debbie Gregson from Yorkshire in the UK.

Alexandra Nairn rode her 'Haddon Park Sundance' to win the Stallion Floats class for Show Hunter 12.2-13hh.

Georgia Appleton rode her, 'Bannon Park Govenor' to win the class for Stallion Floats Show Hunter Pony N.E.12.2hh.

Greg Mickan again did the honours with Jan Langley's successful stallion, 'Langtree Composer' that won the class for Led Show Pony Stallion N.E. 14.2hh during the competition sponsored by Stallion Floats.

Delta Wardle had a super day at the 42nd edition of Barastoc. She rode her 'Merivale Park Toy Soldier' to win the Leading Rein Pony class, as well as the class for First Ridden Pony in the Riding Pony ring that was sponsored by Stallion Floats. Delta went on to take out the award for Joseph Lyddy Runner Up 6 and 7 Year Old Rider of the Year.

Seventeen year old Rebekah Carrolan really looks the part as she trots down the centre line aboard her 'Fawn' during the final ride off phase of the Junior Showmanship Championship. This combination were declared Champions of this age group.

Madison Shiels who finished fourth, is pictured during the final Dressage phase of the 15 Year Old section of the Junior Showmanship Championship.

Eighteen year old Juliet Haddow rode her 'Aussie Rules' to second place in the Junior Showmanship Championship on the third day of the 42nd edition of the Barastoc Horse of the Year Show. The competition really hots up on the last two packed days of Australia's "biggest show on turf".

Saran O'Connor is pictured with her Thoroughbred former racehorse, 'Leica Chief' during the final Dressage phase of the Junior Showmanship Championship. Saran took out Jamie Stround memorial Award for Sportsmanship in the Showmanship classes.

Sixteen year old Caitlyn Hiskins and her 'FP Rose Folly' finished in second place in the Junior Showmanship Championship.

Natasha Dixon is pictured with her 'Goonamurrah Hill' aka "Lark" in the 14 Year old Section of the Junior Showmanship Championship. This combination finish in fourth place.

Fifteen year old, Kate Warneke riding 'Bay Louie' won this age group of the Junior Showmanship Championship.

Twelve years old and already a successful competitor. Emily van Sonsbeek is pictured riding her, 'Marena Night Sky' in the Dressage final of the Junior Showmanship Championship. Emily went on to take out the 12 year old Championship and Overall winner.

Eighteen year old Amanda Diarco represents the oldest age group in the Junior Showmanship Championship that includes and In Hand, Riding and Jumping test. After that the top six in each age group come back for a final ride off in the dressage arena. Amanda finished in third place.

Twelve year old Abby Turnbull is pictured riding her Quarter Horse, 'Doc's Phantom' in the final dressage judging of the Junior Showmanship Championship. This combination finished in fourth place in the 12 year old class.

Erika Grant rode her well performed, 'Dalgangle Hunterway' to take out the Mal Byrne Saddlery Runner Up Show Hunter Pony of the Yea 12hh and Under.
