Tegan Kidner rode her New Zealand bred, 'Queen of Hearts NZPH' to take fifth place in the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship.

Teagan Chester had a successful morning. She rode her talented 'Ellesmere Derilyn' (pictured) to win the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship and a little earlier took fifth place in the Junior Championship riding Romany Ego Z..

Georgie Harvey rode her beautiful and impressive and imported Carnute gelding, 'Tresor' to take third place in the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship. They were second in the young Rider class yesterday.

A busy Clint Beresford from Bega who trains with Grant Hughes is pictured during the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship riding Emma Hughes' ,'Emmaville Charisma'. Clint stepped in at the last minute as Emma had a bad fall resulting in a suspected broken ankle earlier in the class. Clint took sixth place in the Championship riding, 'Emmaville ricochet'.

Nic Sheehan rode his talented Conquistador gelding, 'Cortez' that is out of a Starlight mare, to take fourth place in the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship.

University student, Georgie Lucas does not have so much time to ride, but none the less rode her jet Set D gelding, 'Jetsetter B' to second place in the Club Bega and Merimbula Sand and Gravel Young Rider Championship.

Stephanie MacKillop and her wonder Welsh Pony, 'Alcheringa Tradition' (Rivington Heritage/Wingana Amanda Jones) were on usual form and won the South Point Building Services and Steel Supplies Bega Junior Championship.

Sydney Roberts rode her talented 'Versace Vision' by Vivant to sixth place in the Bink Cement Products and The Waste People D and C Grade Championship.

Grant Hughes won the 1.40m class yesterday afternoon, but had to settle for third place in the Grand Hotel Bega Showjumping Cup jumping a double clear riding his, 'Blackall Park Atlantis'.

Paul Brent and his Animo stallion, 'Animate', bettered the time, but four penalties in the second round saw them finish fourth in the 16th edition of the Grand Hotel Bega Showjumping Cup.

Bega boy,Jamie Grant has no doubt spent the last 15 years wanting to win the Bega Showjumping Cup and today the Canberra based rider lived the dream riding his Daley K gelding, 'Cool K'. They jumped the fastest of the three second round clears to claim the Cup which has gone to a very appreciative home.

Ally Lamb and her 'Penrose' are pictured at full stretch during the second round of the Grand Hotel Bega Showjumping Cup. A good time , but one down in the second round saw the popular Victorian rider take fifth place.

Local rider, Brett Clarke rode his 'GH Tiger Lily' to take seventh place in the Grand Hotel Bega Showjumping Cup.

Gippsland dairy farmer, David Boulton rode his Daley K gelding, 'Special K' to jump a good first round clear in the Grand Hotel Bega Showjumping Cup for eighth place overall.
