Well known and popular Bega boy and Antares Saddlery Australian principle, Jamie Smith jumped the round of the class riding his well performed Thoroughbred, 'Mr Whitter'. Jamie was the only rider in the jump of to make a tight inside turn and looked to have the class won with a beautiful stride to the last. Alas a light touch saw the front rail on the ground and the heroic pair had to settle for fifth place in the Premier Floats Geelong A and B Grade Championship..
